I mentioned Christmas the other day and one of you emailed me about an ornament your family had that sounded like a bird in the tree. It reminded me that we had one, too. Ours didn't look like a bird - it was a silver ornament that plugged in. But it was bad timing.
Right around that time I had a woodpecker outside of my room and it scared me. (The house had wood beams outside). So we'd gone out to dinner one night and my dad came in the house first and turned the ornament on (before I'd ever seen it). When I walked in, and heard that bird, I just KNEW the woodpecker had gotten in and was going to peck my forehead. So I ran and hid and they had to get rid of the ornament. LOL!
I love Christmastime. Such a cozy time of year.

Kindle Anonymous Royalties
Paul Coleman always shares some great tips for making money on Amazon Kindle. Today he has a report called Kindle Anonymous Royalties about earning $1,000 a month for two years with a tiny, anonymous publication.
It's done without promos or blogging. No money spent on ad revenue. Most of the books are less than 10 pages total. Both fiction and non-fiction.
Some of them remind me of the stories in my women's magazines - little short reads many people enjoy. Some don't want to read War and Peace. They want a bite-sized quick read, like 15 minutes to 2 hours max.
I read Paul's guide and I love how he teaches you to piggyback on ideas without being a copycat. He gives good examples and brainstorms ideas with you.

Money from Just Sharing Your Routines
Today I want to talk about a specific person I saw who has developed a following of over 1 million fans on Tik Tok by cleaning her house. What's cool is, on Tik Tok, people LOVE mundane tasks being turned into videos. Scrubbing your stove? Show it. Tidying up a closet? Film it! Planting a vegetable? Get it on video! Cooking for 1 tonight? Grab the camera!
I don't know why it's like this, but for many, it's comforting. People making videos of them washing their face, making their bed, taking their dog out for a walk. And their fandom grows into something huge for no reason.
People on Tik Tok and elsewhere now often us Direct.me to have a link in profile that showcases their various other links. This is important because many sites only allow ONE link, so this is one link that has it all. And it's FREE.
