2 New Limited PLR: NY Resolutions & Extrinsic/Intrinsic Motivation & More!

Published: Sun, 12/12/21

I had to take a couple of days off after we had kind of a traumatic experience on Thursday, so I didn't do any limited PLR then. We went to meet a homeschool kid who my daughter had been talking to for a month or so (and she'd met him once at a group event). His parents came and met us (they seemed nice) and dropped him off at the restaurant where I was eating lunch with the kids to meet and kind of "vet" the young man. I agreed to take him home after. Sounds great, right?

He ended up making us both a bit uncomfortable being odd, so we ended lunch early and I got us on our way. In rush hour traffic, he decides to be extremely aggressive/overly friendly with my daughter, who was trying to keep his attention on Tik Tok videos instead of her. She and I both had to get confrontational with him and it was a terrifying ordeal because at 16, boys are taller than me. It was shocking. You'd think with parents in attendance ESPECIALLY, kids would be on their BEST behavior. We both ended up in tears, etc. I've never seen a kid act like that.

Needless to say, I won't be offering rides home anymore and it'll be  group with parent events for quite awhile. I thought I'd done everything right. I'm so glad I was there. And FYI, all contact was immediately ended everywhere (all social media, phone, etc.). It was a good lesson for both my daughter and I, that even when all precautions are taken, things can still be scary and dangerous.

FYI: Tomorrow's email goes out at 9 AM EST (I think - it's not set yet 100%) and if you need to see what limited PLR is left and see what big, discounted store bundles are available, go here.

Slants Continued: Host a Challenge for Your Blog Readers

People love to join a challenge and participate in a journey alongside others. In many niches, whether it’s knitting a sweater, writing a fiction book, or painting a picture, you can create a specific challenge that has them working on a goal to completion.

The best kinds of challenges to do for this purpose are short ones, where you can blog in a series about them. That might be 5 days or one month, but usually not longer than 90 days total.

If you are in the diet niche, you might use the slant, “1-Month Alternate Day Fasting Challenge.” Every day, you could blog in your series or blog weekly, and have a separate Facebook group set up for the daily interactions.

In the success niche, a good slant might be, “30 Day Blog Challenge.” Here, you could guide your audience on what to blog about for the day, and have everyone share their blog posts in the comments section.

For the survival niche, a slant like, “Daily Discount Prepper Challenge” might be effective. Have everyone find one product a day online or offline that’s being sold in bulk or at a great deal so others can join in and buy, too.

That's it for me today - y'all have a great rest of your day!

Tiff ;)
