High Blood Pressure PLR; 21 Day Habit PLR Discount; Boundaries Needed
Published: Tue, 04/05/22
I'd mentioned previously that I was in the backyard - well we're planting a garden in ground finally. My son tilled some rows and my daughter in law and I were planning what to put where. We put some potatoes in ground, and planted seeds for corn, watermelon, cantaloupe, okra, radishes, peas, and cucumbers.
My dad used to have such a lush, thriving, large garden back there. The soil is good. I hope it all does well. We have so much space and it was going to waste. With everyone talking about food shortages coming, I figured we might as well use the area just in case!

Boundaries - Are You Someone Who Needs Them?
This is a topic that I feel is SO important, so we're going to talk about it in a series. Boundaries. I can't think of anyone I know who isn't in need of setting them with someone. It's hard to do, too. Sometimes, heartbreaking. Sometimes, intimidating or scary. But once you do it, life changes SO much for the better!Your business can soar. Your personal life isn't being diminished. It's amazing.
There are some people in this world who seem to have everyone else bending a knee to their every desire.
The confidence and self-assuredness they possess causes others to hesitate before crossing their boundaries. People seem to default to whatever they want.
This may not be how you perceive yourself.
You might be concerned that nobody seems to respect your boundaries – you’re constantly being pushed around and forced to do things you’re not happy doing or put up with things that annoy you.
People with low self esteem are the ones most in need of boundary setting lessons. When you don’t respect yourself or feel good about yourself, it makes it difficult for others to do the same.
They will run over you if you let them. So as you work on setting boundaries, it’s important to also focus on knowing your own worth. Believe in yourself, in your ideas and in your right to live life on your own terms.
People who have had poor parenting role models are also in need of boundary setting lessons. Some parents degrade their children as they’re raising them, putting them down and making them feel worthless or as if they must listen to others instead of doing things however they want to do them. My mom did this - joking with her friends about how skinny I was, always degrading me about my grades because she was a straight A student, etc. How was I supposed to ever feel confident?
If you lacked a good role model in life – someone who spoke up and valued your input and encouraged you to be self-sufficient – then you may have to relearn things you should have been taught at a young age, like how to stand up for your beliefs.
Those who are people pleasers can be in need of boundary setting lessons. For people like this, they often derive pleasure out of making others happy. And there’s nothing wrong with that – until it impeded on your own happiness.
You should never go along to get along, caving to someone else’s demands just to avoid conflict or appease someone else.
You have just as much right to be happy in life as the other person you’re concerned about. There may be ways to compromise on an issue so that both of you emerge satisfied, but don’t have a kneejerk reaction where you buckle under pressure every time someone wants to do something you disagree with.
Learning how to set boundaries is an important skill that everyone should be taught and mastered as a young child. Some people won’t learn until they’re an adult, like me - or even senior citizens! But with this skill, it’s better to embrace it now than never.
Tiff ;)
