BIG Thinking PLR ; Self Care for Entrepreneurs PLR; Name-Dropping

Published: Wed, 08/17/22

It's gym time and then we're going to drive across town and get Scarlett's eye exam done before heading to one of our favorite restaurants and stores. We love getting some Tex Mex and then shopping at Central Market. They have these miniature crème brûlées that are out of this world. Of course they have other good stuff, too - like their produce department. But let's be honest about why I'm going - it's not the avocados.

FYI: Tomorrow's email goes out at 9 AM EST and if you need to see what limited PLR is left and see what big, discounted store bundles are available, go here.

BIG Thinking PLR

Justin Popovic has a new bundle out called BIG Thinking PLR

I love this slant because it's natural for people to think small so they fend off failure. But limited thinking is one of the worst ways you can sabotage your success.

This huge bundle includes: Check it out here:

Name-Dropping Self-Sabotage

I wanted to give y'all a little tip that can help you when you're networking (especially if you're trying to recruit people to promote your launch).

I had someone recently hit me up via email and private messages about his upcoming launch.

But yikes - in the process of explaining it to me and introducing himself, he mentioned two people I feel are scumbags and I don't want anything to do with.

Of course, they're big names and I know he was probably thinking that would sway me to promote him but it did the opposite. And I'm not going to replay and tell him why, etc. I just won't respond.

That brings another lesson into this.

Well first - let's just say that when you're new with a launch, do NOT feel as if you have to name drop to get approval. You never know what the affiliate's experience is with those names you're mentioning. If it's bad (as mine are), it will ruin your chance of getting a promotion. Because he's aligned with them, I now don't trust anything to do with the launch.

Even if they're not directly connected to it, because those two people are who he's listening to, I don't trust HIM to not become an unsavory marketer and I don't want to send my subscribers to someone like that.

Being a new vendor is NOT a ding against you. All you have to do is prove two things: 1.) that your product is solid and a good match for their list and 2.) that your funnel is set up so that the commission incentive is good for your affiliates.

A simple JV link and review copy is enough to meet both of those thresholds. No names required.

Second, let's go back to that other point. Why didn't I respond? In fact, I blocked him on social media. I am super busy and I deal with so many people online that if I encounter something negative, I will FORGET what happened down the road (sometimes even shortly down the road lol). So I block them so that I don't mistakenly accept a conversation and get drawn into a future promo or anything, forgetting who they were aligned with or what they did in the past.

In emails, I didn't respond because a.) I'm not going to explain the situation to him and have him running back to them to tell them what I said and b.) It's not my job. I take time to respond to MY subscribers and customers, not just everyone. My inbox is flooded with requests for promos and stuff - so that would be impossible to allow something I know I'm not going to do to take up more of my time.

If you've hit up affiliates and they didn't respond, don't take it personally. Sometimes, it's not you but maybe not a good fit product-wise or maybe you've mentioned someone they aren't willing to deal with.

Tiff :)
