Stories Hold You Back PLR; Mindset Mastery PLR; Personalization in the Subject Line

Published: Fri, 09/23/22

I love a good motivational book. Right now, I'm reading a new one - called Be Your Future Self Now: The Science of Intentional Transformation. A friend told me about it. I love how it starts off - with a story about a young high school YouTube kid who made 6-month, 1-year, 5 year and 10-year videos to himself about what he expected himself to achieve by that time.

And boy did he! I used this same "be your future self now" technique back when I went from working for others to working as a solo entrepreneur. Right now I'm working on adopting this mindset for my fitness and fiction. It's a great read so far - just mentioning it in case you also want something about leveling up and stepping into new shoes.

I love how this kid gave his successful self an alter ego name - Mr. Beast. I need to think up some sort of alter ego persona I can envision for my successful self, too.

FYI: Tomorrow's email goes out at 9 AM EST and if you need to see what limited PLR is left and see what big, discounted store bundles are available, go here.

Personalization in the Subject Line

I was reading a post in a forum about how emails that go out with the recipient's name in the subject line get lower open rates than generic ones.

I know this is true for me. My good friends and family never email me with "Tiffany," in the subject line. So I know instantly that it's a marketing email and honestly, the people whose lists I'm on don't use stuff like that.

Then again, I AM a marketer and I know the tactics. Average consumers might not, so their open rate might be larger. All depends on your niche, which is why split testing is important - as is using strategies sparingly.

I know there's talk of using emojis, and other stuff.

Emojis I like - it doesn't have an influence on whether or not I open something, but if it's fitting, like a 🤦 emoji for a mess up or ridiculous thing, I like it. I wouldn't like it if someone spammed me with a bunch of money emojis or something - then I'd look like this: 🙄

So don't follow trends just because someone says it's a good idea. Look at data to determine if it actually is and also, think what YOU as a consumer would like or dislike.

By the way, Gabby Conde has a Master Resale Rights PLR sale (meaning you can sell the PLR to them. We don't normally see this kind of license, so I wanted to mention it in case you wanted to open (or have) a store of your own.

Tiff :)
