New Limited PLR: A Blueprint for Turning PLR Into Info Products; What Are You Burdening Your Future Self With?

Published: Sun, 09/25/22

We had a weird thing happen the other day. Scarlett got a rotisserie chicken for dinner and when she opened it up, it had three legs. THREE! I've never seen that.

We didn't eat it. I just felt weird about it and so did she. Then I felt guilty that it was wasted. I'm trying hard not to go vegetarian again. I did it for five years and my doctor told me to start eating meat again because I was having certain deficiencies so it takes a lot to force me. I don't need to see oddities. LOL!

FYI: Tomorrow's email goes out at 9 AM EST and if you need to see what limited PLR is left and see what big, discounted store bundles are available, go here.

What Are You Burdening Your Future Self With?

I told y'all I was reading a new book called Be Your Future Self. Well I loved this story in it. It was actually about The Simpsons cartoon TV show. In it, Marge (the wife) tells Homer Simpson (the husband) that someday he'll regret eating badly, drinking a lot, etc., because he wouldn't get to be there for his kids. Before taking another swig of a beer and eating a dollop of mayonnaise, he says something like, "I feel sorry for future Homer."

It resonated with me a lot on many different levels. It's like there's this future me who might be thrilled with how I acted presently to get her to where she's at - or she might be pulling her hair out at my actions and behaviors screaming because she knows I'm sabotaging my future.

Only my present self is in control. And what's weird is, I always thought my current actions were decided by PAST behaviors. But really, it might be connected MORE to my future because I always indulge now thinking future me will "someday" take care of it.

This happens in business a LOT. We decide to binge watch a show, let fear get the best of us, etc. We assume our future selves will eventually handle whatever we slack off on. It's like a night crew at a place of business leaving a big old mess for the morning crew to handle.

Are you doing this in your business? Hurting your future self because you're being selfish and assume you'll put the burden on yourself later? That's not fair to you. Think about a future you, even one year from now and what they would think and say to you if they saw what you were doing now. Would they be proud? Ashamed? Hurt? Frustrated?

This kind of thought process won't help everyone but it sure pinpointed what I'm doing (in fiction too - not just my weight). I want to set my future self up for happiness, not have her look back and be disappointed in who I am right now, in this moment.

I am in control of today - not my past and not my future. Just this very second.

Tiff :)
