Public Domain Publishing Idea; Clickfunnels 2.0 PLR; You Don't Decide Your Future

So when you think of Vegas, what do you imagine in your mind? It's called "sin city" of course, so you picture gambling, drinking, showgirls etc. But do you envision it as glamorous? I did. So did a TON of my friends in other countries. They were shocked to hear how it really was (or what we experienced).

We stayed at the Bellagio, thinking it was a nice place (and it is). But to get to the conference, we had to walk across a bridge. From there, if you're on a scooter (as I was), you have to take an elevator. This is where it all goes wrong. It's basically a restroom for the homeless (as is the basic sidewalk, but at least there you can go around it). And elevators were the only way to get me from point A to point B. I have seen videos of people trying to ride their scooter down the escalator and now I know why. (More details will be in my blog - it was scary). If my 6'2 son had not been with us, we would never have left our room.

The street it's all on is scary to me - tons of - not just homeless - but irate, ranting, drugged out people you have to walk through. Even INside the non smoking rooms, we could smell you-know-what wafting through the vents (it's legal there). It made me have a massive headache and we were not happy about that. Paired with the cigarettes, people reeking of alcohol - that part was just gross. I tell you, when we landed in Texas and breathed in that cold, crisp, clean air - it was pure Heaven.

However, Scarlett and I both brought home some sort of bug (it's common to have conference crud after these events). Hoping we're over it by Thanksgiving, but if not, our family is flexible and can just change the date. I wish it wasn't held the week before a holiday. I'd much rather go earlier like September.

FYI: Tomorrow's email goes out at 9 AM EST and if you need to see what limited PLR is left and see what big, discounted store bundles are available, go here.

Quick 10 Page Read on a Public Domain Publishing Idea

PJ Coleman has a little report out called Stupidly Simple Book Royalties that I enjoyed reading for those who want to wield the power of public domain content publications on Amazon. It's just 10 pages of content, so it doesn't take long.

I checked the book he uses as an example and it IS making good money. Probably because of how it's positioned. (And by the way I've bought the main book before - it's a good one and I've also bought one tailored to me as an audience/demographic).

But what I personally enjoyed most was the example of repurposing it for different audiences. I LOVE it when people do that.

You can pick it up here but remember, this is an idea report - he is not the type who goes into great details with how to steps:

You Do Not Decide Your Future

One thing I was so happy that my kids picked up on was the difference the dreamy eyed people with passion for being creative (but no interest in the business part) and those who took their skills, talent and knowledge to create fiction and were willing to do what it took to make a success out of it.

I saw a quote that summed this up perfectly: “People do not decide their futures, they decide their habits and their habits decide their futures.” - F. M. Alexander.

There's a difference between those who have good work habits and those who don't. I have poor eating habits, so I'm fat. But no one can rival my business productivity habits - and if they did, I'd be seriously impressed. I have my own systems, output and plans for it.

This is something you don't copy from others - you develop your own habits.

I am SO proud of my son, Shawn. Not only did he go to his room at the conference and jot down ideas, but as soon we got home - the next day, he comes out with his laptop and tells me he's set himself a plan for 500 words a day minimum of fiction.

To form a habit.

You can have the best intentions, but without the habits that take you to the next level, you'll continue struggling. You need some sort of consistency. And that can STILL deliver flexibility for you. You don't have to do the same thing every day, but be consistent with the habit of working toward your goal.

Tiff :)
