New Limited PLR - Turning PLR Into Multiple Streams of Income; The Ugly Side of Reciprocal Promotions
Published: Sun, 10/02/22
I have been on a big eggs and cornbread kick lately. My dad raised me eating a different kind of cornbread than my mom cooked. I didn't like hers (it was that yellow cornmeal that's gritty and they make in a cast iron pan). My dad bought fine white ground cornmeal and added a tiny sprinkle of baking soda and some salt to it. Then he's fry it into patties. They don't even sell it here - I have to have it shipped in orders of six bags at a time to me by Autry Mills.
It's SO good. We eat it with fried eggs and also in chicken and gravy meals. Such an old timey Southern type of meal, it feels like. It sounds weird, I know - eggs and cornbread. But then I always hear of beans and toast from the UK and feel like that's weird, too. I love how different regions have their own comfort foods and preferences. I'd love to try so many regional meals because you never know what you'll end up loving.

The Ugly Side of Reciprocal Promotions
Oh wow so much drama unfolded this weekend. So apparently, someone I don't know launched something that made the bestseller list and I think deal of the day (not sure). But anyway, suddenly all of these posts were popping up (not to mention behind the scenes discussions) about this launch or just questions about whether or not people would promote people who had done bad things in the past.
Someone mentioned feeling torn because the scummy person had promoted them, so they felt obligated. Several said they had no idea and pulled their promo (after making some money) once the buzz about it got big enough to where people were shaming those who promoted the person.
It was a big old mess.
I have no idea what this was all about exactly - there are things being said about this person having spent time in jail because they scammed elderly people out of their retirement money or something by saying they had some sort of plumbing issue - I don't know.
Anyway, the point is, NEVER EVER EVER promote without doing your homework. (This scam and jail thing apparently made the news). And NEVER EVER EVER feel obligated (or ahem - use that as an excuse) to promote someone just because they promoted you.
The question was raised by someone about "would you promote a scumbag if the product was good, even if there's proof they're a scumbag and still are?"
Well no.
No, you don't promote scumbags. Because what does this mean? It means you're sending your trusting subscribers to someone who has the mindset where they don't care about ripping people off.
So even if the subscriber gets benefit from a "good product" NOW, that doesn't mean that unsavory individual won't scam them another day!
You do everything to protect your subscribers, period. OR you're JUST as bad as the scammer is.
There are always methods of making money, and there's no way this person has something so earth-shatteringly awesome it isn't taught elsewhere. And even if it is, oh well. Never support someone who does that kind of stuff.
Tiff :)
