Unbreakable Resilience PLR Special; Managing Time - How Does It Work for You?
Published: Tue, 10/18/22
I'm doing my Vegas planning and like I do at Disney World, I'm going to have to get a scooter because my knee will give out on me if I'm walking long distances. Anyway, I found two companies to order from w/good ratings. I used a contact form on one to ask some questions. No reply. I called and left a message. No reply. I PM'd them on FB. They saw it - no reply. I then posted on their FB profile. They said "Our website is operational." I asked them to check messages - no reply.
No reply = lost sale. I found another company, opened their live chat and asked some questions. Their reply? "Sure." Sure? Wait, what? I asked three questions. Only one should have had "sure" as a response. LOL! What is with these people? Do they not need more business? I guess I'll go with the "Sure" company because at least they answered but jeez. Customer service is important even before a sale, people.
FYI: Tomorrow's email goes out at 9 AM EST and if you need to see what limited PLR is left and see what big, discounted store bundles are available, go here.
Later today: I will have another limited PLR that I'll be emailing about. My schedule has been all off kilter this month due to activities we have going on, but I'm still productive - just various times. Stay tuned!

Managing Time - How Does It Work for You?
Continuing on in lessons I'm teaching my kids that you may want to know, too is time management. As I told you in the initial babe about Scarlett creating that report, she had asked me, "Why did you give me 3 pages to write in one day?" Because she thought I would have her write 1 page a day M-F and then do one other task each day to prepare for the launch. But I didn't.I wanted HER to know that when she needed to, she could push herself. But I also wanted to test her resolve. How bad did she want the launch to happen?
I shrugged and said, "You're welcome to just do 1 page today and finish it up next week - whatever you want."
I was SO happy when she passed the test and came back in here a little while later saying, "I pushed myself and finished all 3 pages." YAY!
This is NOT something you should force on anyone else or yourself. It has to be powered from within. How bad do you want it? I love not having to stress about money, so I push myself to work hard. I can write up to 40 pages a day if I need to or want to. And I do. Some days, I don't have it in me - ALSO equally important to recognize.
Scarlett came to me one day in September and said, "I wish I didn't have to do school and work today. I really don't feel like it." This is a kid who has always been a straight A student. She isn't the type of slack off. So I said, "It's JUST as important for you to learn when NOT to work as it to learn when TO work. Take today off." She was so relieved.
Not happy or thrilled as a kid is when they get a day off school - just a feeling of relief. We talked a lot about that. It's okay to give yourself some grace now and then. If it becomes ALL you do, then that's a problem. But it's a PERK and luxury of this business and SHOULD be enjoyed and utilized when needed OR just when wanted.
I have to teach her to give herself permission to be her own boss. To decide when she works best. It's part of becoming an awesome leader and marketer.
As for normal schedules, right now, she's doing work Monday-Friday and goes to the gym 3 days a week during the day before her work. Each day she does a little PLR, a little affiliate marketing (research, product review writing, etc.). She learns the fiction craft and then reads her future competitors to study what works/sells, what it lacks, how she can do better, etc.
We don't mind switching gears. She started out reading sweet romance, but like her mom, she finds it boring. I hate books where I know how it'll end. So I bought her a thriller by Colleen Hoover called Verity. She's never read a thriller. It's be a self published top selling author, and now she's hooked - keeps coming in here to tell me what happened next. She MUST find joy in her schedule. She's 18 so she can read something scarier or whatever at her age. Doesn't have to be a high school clean romance.
Tiff :)
