Inspiring PLR, Third Party Business Disaster
Published: Mon, 10/24/22
First of all, do you know how INFURIATING it is when you work to send something out and it's all perfect and then you set it up via email and you don't realize that when one of your four hyper rescue puppies were clamoring all over you, they change the word FULL to WULL in the subject line of your email yesterday? LOL! I had my caps lock on to change full to FULL and somehow, they changed it because the text file I copied it from was the normal word.
You have NO idea how much I had to resist the urge to re-email a correction. LOL! But I didn't.
Taking y'all's advice, Scarlett will be working on a First Steps to Social Marketing report. Her generation has mastered social media and she's routinely teaching me how to do things, so this should be good. I told her to go a little more in depth with tips and lessons whenever she can and to teach it like we don't know a thing.
That's one good thing to learn to do as a marketer - teach without assuming anyone knows things, like what a hashtag is or what it means to "go viral." Not everyone knows! You might, but your audience might not.
FYI: Tomorrow's email goes out at 9 AM EST and if you need to see what limited PLR is left and see what big, discounted store bundles are available, go here.

Third Party Business Disaster
I have always warned my kids about not building your entire business on a third party platform. I learned this seeing so many Squidoo creators lose their ability to earn, and after YouTube closed my account for a video called "make money on Squidoo" which was not selling anything, but teaching people how to be affiliate marketers for free. They actually told me my video was performing well and invited me to monetize it. The second I did, BAM! Account and 400+ videos gone. I managed to talk to a supervisor on the phone who told me after reviewing it, I did nothing wrong but they "couldn't" reinstate my account.
Lesson learned.
So my oldest son (who knows a girl from his high school making 3 million a year gaming on Twitch), told me about another friend who had begun earning more gaming on Twitch than he was at his offline normal job.
So what did he do?
He quit his job. To game fulltime on Twitch. I cringed.
Two weeks later, what happened? His account was banned. He had been playing a game and live streaming and someone in the game got mad that he took him out. Knowing he was live streaming, the guy went into his chat and started repeatedly saying a word he knew would get him shut down. And it worked.
Poor guy now has no job and no Twitch revenue. I've seen this happen with Amazon publishing accounts, TikTok and other social creators enjoying the "funds" and more.
OWN YOUR VIRTUAL REAL ESTATE and never put all your income eggs in one basket.
Yes, it's harder running multiple businesses. But one day you'll be glad you did if you wake up and one of them has dried up completely for any reason.
Tiff :)
