Merry Christmas!

Published: Sun, 12/25/22

I hope you're all having a lovely Christmas day today and staying warm. Here's a pic of me and my babies (and daughter in law). Dylan's in the back with his Christmas hat on (by his wife), Scarlett's in front and Shawn's on the right side. I'm peeping through the back of course.

We had a lot of fun last night. It's 1 PM here and I'm still waiting for my kids to wake up to open their gifts (we stayed up super late talking and laughing so I'm letting them sleep in).

My oldest is coming by soon to pick up the rest of his gifts that wouldn't fit in his car (and of course I'll send him off with tons of leftovers).

I was disappointed that the Dr. Pepper cake didn't taste good. But the other desserts did. Have to give half away or I'll eat them all. LOL!

Last night the Christmas games were fun but I couldn't believe no one wanted the Yonanas machine or the gumball machine! (It's hard coming up with gifts for the games that all 4 will like). So I just got myself 2 new gifts LOL! Those Yonanas machines looked cool - you put fruit in it and it turns it into ice cream. Maybe it's fate - I need a healthier dessert for 2023.

And gumball machines - who doesn't like gum? Apparently it was a lack of space that deterred them but I have a big desk so it's mine now. They did love the towel warmer, bath bombs, luxury shaving kits and sous vide machine. (I can't wait to try that too - I've never cooked that way). I forget what else was part of the game but next year I'll try shopping earlier.

When my oldest was opening his gifts, I cringed because he flipped a box and let it fall to the ground (it was a vertical monitor for his gaming set up). Eek! I hope it still works. I forgot to tell him to be careful with it.

I just gave the dogs their new bones from Santa Dog so they're content. I have catnip toys for the kitties but my son will give those to them.

After we do Christmas I'll probably outline some 2023 plans. It's what I always do when it's quiet and calm.

I hope you have a wonderful day and tomorrow start thinking about what you want 2023 to be like for you!

Tiff ;)
