Plans/Chat, 3 New Limited Long Blog Posts (Niche $, Indie Fiction, Diets)

Published: Sat, 12/31/22

In less than 24 hours it will be a brand new year. 2023. We can speculate and hope for what it will have in store for us, but we know that very often, we have no control over what events will occur. All we can do is manage our own thoughts and our own actions, regardless of what happens.

I have gotten emails from people this week about their tough year, so I know many are hurting. It seems like ever since 2020, it's been a strain. Somehow, I feel like 2023 has potential to be the breakout from that fog of weirdness we are winding down from.

In some ways, it's poised to get harder. If you listen to financial experts, the economy isn't done torturing us just yet. So what can you do? The best way to manage that (in my opinion) is to enter this coming year as a true go getter. No more floundering. Make yourself consistent and uncomfortable temporarily, working when you don't feel like it, doing things nervously, etc. Otherwise, you're a sitting duck in this world, allowing things to just happen to you.

Turn on the Rocky theme song. Set your alarms. Be the kind of entrepreneur you personally are impressed by. Move so strategically and so fast that nothing can catch you. Even on days when you're feeling down or tired. Do it anyway. I wrote a detailed blog post about my New Years Eve plans (they're strategic, not exciting) and what I'll be doing in 2023 here, so read it if you have time. It might help you with your own planning.

BTW: The Chatzy productivity sprint group is linked in the post above and the password is: gogetter (make sure it's all lower case). I might pop back in later today but I'll be coming and going all the time, and my attendance isn't required to work in there. You can even work solo if you want!
