New Limited PLR - 5 Criteria to Help You Pick the Right Business Model; Discouraged Part 2
Published: Mon, 04/10/23
I got a huge response to my email yesterday where I wrote about the possibility of you feeling discouraged. Today, I have a part 2 at the bottom.
I went to the gym today. Had a good workout, but I am SO tired. That one day of weeding my garden Sunday worse me out. LOL! I'm looking into a nutritionist to start seeing locally and I think I found one. I need some accountability and counseling on this so the person giving advice knows my backstory and thoughts and can tailor my plans to me, not just some catch all program online. Probably going to sign up and start next week.

Discouraged Part 2
Yesterday, I shared a section of my email to focus on those times where you feel discouraged. I shared some of my own experiences of disappointment and having to power through.I think everyone goes through this at some point in another on their Internet marketing journey. You have to focus on the goals that you have for yourself. For example, I've had different goals in my 20 plus years.
I started out just wanting to help with the bills by doing something that would allow me to stay home and raise my son myself. Then, my goals evolved into needing to be self-sufficient so that I could get out of an abusive marriage.
This is something that keeps many people in a toxic relationship - not being able to afford to support yourself and your family on your own. Then, my goals evolved into wanting to be able to keep my kids in their college preparatory school, which was over 32,000 per year per child.
Ridiculously expensive, but at the time, I felt like it was worth it. Now, my goals are to purchase a property outside of the city so that myself and my children can build on it. We want to be more self-sufficient and away from the traffic and crime that usually occurs and is growing in the bustling DFW area.
So once you know your goals, it will help you figure out what you have to do to get there. For example, I was never going to be able to afford that college preparatory school by working as a freelance service provider. It was nice to help with bills.
So I had to get outside of my comfort zone, put myself out there in a terrified state as a competitive marketer, and build a business. And I did it. But this business, even though it's going very well, is not enough for me to be able to purchase the kind of property and build several houses on it like I want to.
Therefore, the business model that's going to get me to that level will be fiction if I can do it right. It required me to invest quite a bit of money for us to go to Vegas in November and learn all about indie publishing.
Right now, I'm working two jobs - one as an Internet marketer and PLR provider, And the other as a fiction writer. Sometimes I'm very tired when I'm trying to get to my fiction at the end of the day, because my current online business is what I have to prioritize.
You have to build willing to do the work, be exhausted, be embarrassed, and put yourself out there and try things even if they fail. You have to be willing to look for the resources that are going to take you to that next level. For me, I joined the group for indie authors, but I lurk there because it's intimidating.
Still, I absorb information and I network with others. I got a big response to my email yesterday, which means some of you are struggling quietly behind the scenes. I want you to know that if you need someone to offer advice or just bounce ideas off of, I'm here for you.
Many of you will already know that I am no nonsense when it comes to this. I am not going to simply smile and say you have a good idea if I feel you really don't. Your problems may seem insignificant to you, and you may be embarrassed that what you feel is holding you back is stupid or not worth discussing.
But like I said, sometimes it's my own mind that gets in the way of my success and not anything like a budget or knowledge. So I get it. You are not alone. You can do this. And I want you to make a plan to figure out how you're going to do it, what resources you need, when you're going to carve the time out to do it, what you're gonna do when and if you fail, and so on.
And most important - stop suffering alone and hit that reply button whenever you need some support. I was very lucky to have people helping me, and I would not be the kind of person I want to be if I turned my back on those who need help now.
Tiff :)
