Well half my floor is done and it looks amazing! They're delivering my new furniture today - just so proud to get this done. The only blemish on my day is that our property taxes are coming in the mail and apparently everyone is sticker shocked. I don't understand any of it or why you can dispute it. Seems like this should be a set number that's correct and not something we have to negotiate. 

I have to tell y'all something funny too. I have been having a hard time getting my rescue dogs' nails done. The vet won't even do Delilah's anymore because she's a stressed out dog during it. And Mia has to be muzzled. I ended up nipping the quick of their nails, which broke my heart, so I found something that works and is so funny now. 

I got this sandpaper sheet and I tear off a little strip of it. I then say, "It's doggie nail time!" and the little dogs all jump up onto my chair vying to be first. I hold them where they're sitting upright and just talk softly about what good girls they are and smooch the top of their head while filing down their nails and then give them 1 treat per foot. LOL! They LOVE it. Whew! Finally found what works. They're calm and excited about nail day now.
