Feeling Defeated; 1 Cool Training and 3 Amazing Offers

Published: Fri, 03/17/23

I'm having one of those moments where I am very sad, disliking this industry, how good people are treated, etc. Makes me want to run away and never look back at it. More on that below...if you want to know how the situation ended up. I know it affects many of you as buyers of content you can't use as your own since he had no right to sell it.

Earlier today, I went to the gym and my son gave me a good workout. He knew I was upset and wanted to let me get my anger out on the machines. It worked, but now I'm just down, not raging. Tomorrow I'm supposed to stop by my neighbor's for the memorial gathering for her husband and boy I don't want to do it. I don't want to cry there or anything. But I will because I need to show my support. I dread it, though. I prefer to honor people's memories on my own.

FYI: If you need to see what limited PLR is left and see what big, discounted store bundles are available, go here.

Note: I'll be back later tonight or tomorrow with a new limited PLR. I'm pretty drained now. If I feel up to being creative tonight, I will.

Feeling Defeated

I don't even know where to begin with what happened today. I have always been a marketer people could rely on to not scam them or steal from others, etc. I maintain my ethics, and because of that, it means I turn down many partnership opportunities, I don't recruit shady affiliates, etc.

I work hard for what I earn. And whenever people have bashed W+ for not having a clean marketplace, I always say it's an insurmountable task to go through each product before it goes live, apply the concept, get results, etc.

However, when a problem is brought to light, I expect it to be handled to protect the person whose product or rights have been violated. I never thought that was too much to ask.

I have been so upset today, beginning with me being told by W+ staff that apparently the scammer "made an honest mistake." (Remember, this wasn't the first complaint about him doing this - he stole from Arun previously.

I noticed the scammer had added a single line on his sales page (where the entire sales page tells people to use the PLR as their own content still to this day) that said "Please, only use it as personal rights" or something to that effect. Right above and below, it also tells the user to edit it, put their name on it, use it as their own content.

Well, heck - let me just make the FB post public with my response today and in it, you can go read Michael Lantz's response to me. Shane's response is in the Warrior Plus group, but they locked that so I can't respond any further with my proof. On my FB post, you can see his response, my replies AND the photo proof of what has happened on this guy's page, with my rights, etc.

I don't know of anyone who disagrees with me that this wasn't handled properly.

The proper way to handle it would have been:

1. Immediately look at the two pages to see proof that he's stolen my copy (I sent a DMCA) and yank the page.
2. Look at my rights license they force me to upload - what good is it if they don't look at it - and see that he had no right to sell rights to my content, and close it down.
3. Look at the sales page to see where he's telling people to use it as their own content.
4. Look at the prior complaint of him stealing someone else's content.
5. Close his offer. Refund all buyers of that OTO. Notify all buyers that they don't have the right to use the content.

Instead, I was told that MY post was disappointing. That what I said wasn't true. Even though I had proof. I was told the issue previously was 3 years ago. And? I was told they were told he's refunding customers. All of you are sending me email proof of him denying refunds. I was told this is a private matter and shouldn't be discussed publicly. Yeah, I'll bet!

I was told his offers can't be found in their marketplace, but his Deal of the Day listing is live and I even added it to my cart - so it can be found. Basically, I was brushed off as if I'm all wrong for how I'm feeling.

There is SO much scamming and stuff out there, and it sucks when someone who DOES do the right thing is treated like this.

I try to teach my kids to be above the board. I'm teaching them this lesson too - that even when you do the right thing, you WILL get mistreated even by people you thought had your back.

I welcome your insight. If you think I'm wrong, let me know. I just don't see it.

Tiff :)
