I've been reading that Dale Carnegie book and I don't know why but for some reason, I thought other people didn't have similar reactions to stress like me. (Not that they didn't stress but their response). Whether it's business stress, health, personal, etc. For some reason, I thought I was alone in my response.
He gives vivid, real life examples of what others are going through and you feel it when reading it. Some people always seem so in control even when their world is crumbling around them. I've worked today on compartmentalizing my focus to right now, right here - and I was highly productive when I didn't allow myself to "what if."
