New Limited PLR: Protecting Your Online Business from AI Backlash; Going Away in Oct; AI Talk

You know what I think is really weird? How taste buds evolve over time. I used to gag at the thought of pimento cheese. Then I realized I hadn't had it since I was a kid, and I got one of those Chick Fil A sandwiches with pimento cheese, honey and jalapenos and oh my gosh it was a flavor festival in my mouth! I have seen this happen with my kids - they grow up hating something like onions then they love them.

I'm going to take a dinner break and make a baked potato - it's rainy and cozy and that sounds so good. Then I'll be working on more survival prepper and senior advanced marketing PLR for later.

I got a LOT of feedback from my list (and on Facebook) about the AI discussion, so I'm continuing on with that below, bringing in some other viewpoints that have good insight. And today's first limited PLR is going to be VERY important if you're in the marketing niche because people who have suddenly embraced AI are going to now be scared about it, so this teaches them the right balance and use.

Quick Heads Up: As I was procrastinating in putting my existing PLR up, I've had these ENORMOUS bundle deals listed. List 51 bundles of personal development and success PLR that will sell for $1,524+ on my store at 94% off or $636 worth of Survival and Homestead PLR (32 bundles) for over 96% off. When I return from Disney at the end of the month, I'm going to be taking these down and working on finally getting the content loaded onto my store. So IF you want to grab big bulk packages of PLR for well over 90% off, I'll list them below and you can make plans to scoop them up before October

New Limited PLR: Protecting Your Online Business from AI Backlash

My latest limited to 50 buyers PLR is called Protecting Your Online Business from AI Backlash. This is a content piece that is specifically geared toward marketers who have embraced the use of AI in their business (or who were considering it). But now that problems are arising, including lawsuits, accounts being shut down, and legislation being passed, it's imperative that you guide your audience in the right way to use this technology to avoid potential problems.

This 8-page, 3,513-word PLR covers the following:

- Corrective Measures Taking Place Against AI Abuse
- Cleaning Up and Preventing Damage to Your Business
- 7 Ways You Can Still Use AI Effectively and Risk-Free
- Be Careful About the Sources You Buy Content From
- The Only Safe Way to Use Full AI Creations Online

Existing Big PLR Deals That Will Go Away in October

Most of the content is evergreen, but there may be things like marketing platforms, etc. that need to be updated. Don't forget to use these in crossover ways. Like the debt, credit, and savings can be used in the survival niche - or even for marketers on a budget. It's also a top issue in relationship troubles.

Continuing the AI Discussion

So let's keep talking about the AI implications. Yesterday I discussed how initially, we all knew this was going to turn into a mess. I was never against AI, but against how most people would use it. Sure enough, customers have been complaining out the wazoo about poor quality books on Amazon. Shady marketers took established author's whole books, and ran it through AI and republished it as their own. Now there are lawsuits, rules, and bills being filed to fix this mess.

I just hate thieves and have zero respect for lazy people. Honestly.

So let's dig into some things I heard in various discussions and I'll respond to the general commentary as well:

1. "The pendulum will swing back violently and unreasonably." YES! I loved how this person put it. The corrective measures being taken right now are going to be a BIG punch on the nose, and inevitably hinder some honest people who get caught up innocently in the nightmare. It will eventually shake out somewhere in the middle, but not before some people are collateral damage in the corrective phase.

2. "AI detectors are a bunch of rubbish." YES! I tried several different ones and not ONE accurately detected whether I wrote something from scratch or used AI. What a crock. So this goes back to #1 - innocent people WILL end up being told they used AI when they didn't and some AI users will slip through the cracks undetected when they did! However, as with all technology, it will improve. Copyscape is pretty good at finding scraped content, but you have to know how to search with it appropriately. If you paste too much in, it doesn't detect - too little and it over does it.

3. "The lawsuit situation is going to be a nightmare for the little guy." I do agree there is usually very little recourse for an average marketer to go up against Google or Amazon and the like. Usually, you're given a warning about something they noticed like a copyright violation, and you have a certain number of days to comply. Most couldn't afford an attorney and lawsuit, so they'd simply have to take down their content.

But this is why I insist that we don't put all our eggs in one basket. I'd never switch gears from marketing to fiction solely relying on Amazon, for example. In fact, I don't want to rely on any third party platform. I want to have a diversified income stream and direct connection to my audience. Many fiction authors are finally learning how to sell from their own site, and I applaud that. This was advised before AI existed. Amazon always shut accounts down for no reason. It's just common sense.

4. "All writers are going to be destroyed by this." Nah. I don't agree with this. I wasn't worried about it with my PLR business when AI first came onto the scene. Why? AI isn't as good, period. Humans can usually tell when you're reading AI because it writes in a certain way. Same types of phrases, uses tons of outlines and lists in the writing, etc. With content, I feel like AI is just like any other competitor. And let's not forget, these platforms can't squeeze ad money out of free AI. They NEED human content creators, too.

So what should you do? First, stop publishing AI content on Amazon, period. Unpublish any AI content you have there. Even coloring books. T-shirt designs. Anything. Second, stop using AI as is. IF you use it, follow the advice in my limited PLR above. That will be the safest and still effective way to leverage this technology. I wouldn't be selling products that AI created without transparency. I wouldn't be using it on a blog, either. Maybe lead magnets and emails could get by since they're not publicly published to attract detection and you're not selling them.

If you're a marketer in need of content, take the DIY route, outsourcing route, or PLR route CAREFULLY. I wouldn't hitch my wagon to AI content (video, images or text). I said this early on - it's dangerous territory until it becomes the norm. It was too much, too soon, and bound to be caught in a snare. I feel bad for people who sat there building 100s of pages of blog content (even getting ranked) and are now going to be plagued by upcoming changes. It's a lot of corrective work to be burdened with.

If you ARE buying PLR or using a ghostwriter, you'd better know the ethics of those you're buying from. I know for a FACT many are using AI and selling it to unsuspecting buyers. I have been upfront in labeling mine "AI-Assisted PLR" whenever I did a cheap pack for those on a budget with it. Everything else I write from scratch myself. But most are not ethical and transparent. If you're using PLR or content a ghostwriter did for you and they used AI, don't think the law will care if you point your finger back at them and say, "But I didn't know. It's their fault!" That won't fly in a court of law.

Don't throw the baby out with the bath water, either. AI still has beneficial uses - just like a keyword tool or editing tool. It can still shortcut your work, and be beneficial like other tools. There's no reason to panic about legalities. The bill gives one year to correct what you've done. But Amazon won't be as nice, neither will the SERPs.

Tiff ;)
