My son is going on a trip with his fraternity brothers to Colorado Springs and I'm in full on Mom mode, sending him articles about people being attacked by bears and mountain lions. LOL! He walked in and said, "Well you're not going to like this - it's snowing 6 inches the day before we leave." (I'm Texan, we don't do snow). So I had to then tell him he might slide off a cliff and the car end up in front of a bear den.
I go all out with the warnings. We all laugh about it but I'm secretly hoping my advice sinks in. Doesn't help that the VRBO they rented has a picture of a full on Grizzly Bear ON the property. Ack! I wish they could all be hermits like me. (But I'm happy he gets to go in the end).

I am SO excited - I got my cover finished for my first contemporary romance. This is something I finished before this course on my own. It's been professionally edited, the cover is done - just setting it all up now. I know nothing about proper marketing for fiction books. I'll have to learn as I go. But I love that process.
