We had a surprising 79 degree day here (and rainy) today. So lovely! I wanted to sleep in so bad for the sheer cozy aspecy of it. But I didn't. I felt energetic so I got up and have lost 5.3 pounds - woot woot! I forgot that I'm taking Chromium Picolinate as a supplement, so that might contribute to my non-existent sugar cravings. Food Update:

I am soooooo excited about my weight loss but what's even BETTER is the lack of sugar cravings. I can't tell you how incredible that is. The food noise has stopped and I don't think about it constantly. I just feel content in eating something good for me, then I go about my day.

I noticed when getting my cheese for the eggs tonight, I initially got 2 ounces then realized I only needed one. I put the rest back. I am LOVING the dates with butter and the Honey Mama bars. Scarlett keeps sneaking some from me, too. LOL! She loves them. Both of us have nixed Cokes. 

I took pictures of last night's dinner and today's meals. Last night I had a top sirloin angus steak with salad. And the usual dessert mentioned above. Today I had Greek yogurt with berries and walnuts and chia seeds (1 tbls this time) for breakfast. 

Then for dinner, I wasn't hungry but I just made 3 eggs with 1 ounce cheese, a piece of sourdough toast (I love that this only has 3 wholesome ingredients) with the jelly (the only bad thing) and 1/4 avocado with my usual dessert. I was not stuffed, just content. I have no cravings afterwards. 

The reason I go on about sugar cravings is because y'all should've seen my desk before. I had candy tucked away in every drawer, on top, etc. I had access to it 24/7 and would mindlessly snack on it. KitKats, Milk Duds, Caramel popcorn, etc. Now I have walnuts and brazil nuts that i don't even snack on unless with a meal. 

I'm stoked about the 5.3 pounds down. I just want this to keep going until I can golf again and be ME again! I bookmarked some articles I'm going to read from today's news all about healthy eating so I'll report on that tomorrow.
