I wrote this part last night: I decided I felt good enough to add in some
exercise at around 12:45 AM. It was always hard to feel so sluggish and walk (especially with the bad knee, inflammation, etc.). Since the healthy eating has mostly eliminated the inflammation, I decided to give it a try.Â
Â
I was able to go at a slightly higher speed (which, let's be honest is still a snail's pace). But I also was able to go a bit longer than before (again, not much but a great start). It's not about energy - it's
my knees. They still have a ton of pressure on them from my current weight. As I lose, I hope to be able to do more.Â
Â
Also, because I had eaten breakfast and dinner together early, at around 1:30 AM, after I'd gotten off the treadmill and showered, I was feeling a bit weak. I listen to my body, now. I got a pickle spear for some electrolytes and a serving spoonful of the 6-layer dip with about 4-5 chips. It hit the spot and I felt
great after. Just enough to fix my physical needs, and not anything about emotional eating.Â
Â
Now for today's news: I knew I'd bump up in weight today after eating a wee morning hour snack AND walking (which makes the inflammation in my legs worse). So today I was back at 280.4, a 1.2 pound gain. Annoying. But the overall graph of my weight loss is a staggered staricase - up, down, up, down. Trending correctly. I
know not to focus on it too much now.
Â
I realized today, though - I'm having trouble being hungry at all. I don't care about food whatsoever. I have to force it. Wondering now if it's the berberine and chromium doing too good of a job. Today I forced myself to eat my meal. I had some of the dip and chips with my yogurt. Ate all the yogurt but left about 1/3 of the chips and dip. I also had a pickle spear and my coffee and
some meta mucil fiber cookies.Â
Â
Â
Bythe way the dip is made with organic refried beans, organic sour cream. organic avocados
w/organic mayo and salsa, organic cheese/olive/tomatoes. And the chips are too. LOL!
Â
My son said I might want to take the pills every other day and see if that helps with my hunger. I noticed it's getting stronger every day in terms of its effect on my hunger. Going back looking at my log for macros, I'm averaging about 1,178 calories. Probably not enough leading me to start feeling weak. I felt slightly weak this morning before
eating, too. So I probably need to increase calories a bit. I hadn't been paying attention to calories - just tracking to make sure I got enough fiber, etc. And to have a record.Â
Â
I asked AI if these supplements have that effect and yes, they can eliminate hunger. So I need to monitor my intake of that and maybe switch to every other day and get some appetite back. At least so I'm not miserably having to make myself eat. Months
ago I would have begged to have this problem but I don't want to go in the opposite direction from overeting, either.Â
Â
For awhile now, I've been getting amazing sleep. I used to have trouble sleeping. But then I read about Magnesium Taurate and I take one pill of that per night (heart health, sleep etc) and I sleep really good. I never knew the dangers of taking melatonin and previously, I was taking that whenever I had trouble
sleeping.Â
Â
I won't do exercise tonight. I plan on taking it easy and getting lots of work done. Every morning, I start out doing my leg compression pants. Those were the best investment I ever made on my health. I read a chapter of my Pleasure Trap book while I'm doing that. Then I do coffee and make my meal and work, then relax. Today I'm kind of sleepy for some reason. It's heading into the weekend and I need to start making
time for downtime. I rarely take it, voluntarily. Unless I'm at Disney, and I have a trip coming up in a few months.Â
