As I said earlier, I decided to cancel (postpone) my trip. I was supposed to go in a little over 100 days but I have been trying to get a hold on
this way of life plus finding time for fiction and it just felt overwhelming thinking I was about to go on vacation soon.
I decided to go about a year from now - once I'm stable with my health journey and fiction process. It alleviated a LOT of immediate stress for me. I do a lot of planning and focus for those trips, and I know having a week of decadent food would possibly just throw me off. It takes time to acclimate to this
journey.
I felt proud for having my priorities straight for once. Without the supplements, I'm struggling to figure things out. I don't mean cravings. I mean still making myself eat, eating the right portions, etc.
Take today, for instance. I had my usual Greek yogurt organic breakfast. But then later realized I needed lots more calories to get me to a little over
1,300. I track and measure everything. So I had a lunch/dinner of 2 eggs with grits and 1 cup of taco soup w/1 ounce colby jack and 5 blue tortilla chips. (These are my kid plates so it's not as much as it looks like). Also had a Honey Mama bar.
After that, I crashed. Got sleepy. The supplements weren't there to stabilize me like they did before. So then I was sluggish the rest of the evening. Annoying. All part of the process figuring it all out.
Fiction-wise, I had a horrible slump yesterday of not knowing my direction. I go through this.
It's like I self sabotage. I'm not ever good enough for what I want to do. LOL!
All reasons I felt it was best to remove one thing off my plate (the trip)and give these 2 areas of life my all.
