I had to laugh last night when my frustration went sky high upon hearing something chewing in the walls. I thought it was a mouse or something - we've never had them but it sounded like it. I even bought humane traps etc. Well last night we discover that it really was - a big cluster of beetles making noise. No clue how they got into the wall, but there were about 4 of them huddled together making SUCH a loud noise. So much better than a mouse problem!

Health Journey

I'm very excited about the movement to make our food and health industry better. I saw an announcement that Joel Salatin has now been appointed as an advisor to the secretary for USDA (1 of six advisory positions). He's an organic regenerative farmer (all about healthy soil, no synthetic chemicals or GMOs, etc.). It's all about healthy food AND a healthy approach for the environment/land. 

I love to see it. I want everything changed in terms of health and nutrition that's made us so sick. Those of you who live in other countries where they're using natural ingredients are so lucky. Like the Fruit Loops example - you color yours with actual fruit. We get cancer-causing dyes. Lower sugar contest, etc. So unfair. 

I always wonder, how did that corruption get started and worse - continue? Maybe you can see a one off corrupt person gettng paid off but for it to continue in large-scale for decades means greed over the good of humans and it's sad how that happened. 

Something off has also happened to chicken around DFW lately too. People I know are refusing to buy in stores or at fast food or restaurants - a lot of the chicken is almost rock hard, impossible to cut or tear or bite. VERY strange. No clue why.
