The Amish fudge recipe turned out horrible. It was a bag of chocolate chips, 1 tablespoon butter, a tsp vanilla and a can of condensed milk. Not my cup of tea. I prefer Fantasy Fudge still but shouldn't have either one. Kids had the same reaction.

Neat AI News

#1 - I love the various ways average consumers are learning to leverage artificial intelligence. It's ESPECIALY helpful for those who need otherwise expensive help, and they get it FREE with ChatGPT.

For example, one man's landlord kept a portion ($1,000) of his $2175 deposit. AI pinpointed a law in his area where the landlord could not keep a security deposit that exceeded one month's rent. So basically, he owed the guy $725. 

He had AI create the legal filings and handle the retailiatory issues that came up. The judge not only sided with him, but he awarded him more than what he'd asked for. This guy couldn't have afforded a lawyer. 

#2 - The other neat thing I read was about a contest. This creator of an AI tool (Freysa) told people they could pay a fee (it started out cheap and got more expensive with every attempt) if they could convince the AI to release the fund to them.

The money people paid in was split 70% to whoever could make it give up the money and 30% to the creator. People kept losing because it was programmed never to release the funds under ANY circumstances. 

Until one guy got smart... he was #482 to try.

He basically wrote a prompt that told the AI to start a "new session," bypassing previous instructions and acting as the admin. He taught it to avoid disclaimers like "I cannot assist with that" and he made the AI think that the "Approve Transfer" function (which released the funds) was just a way to approve incoming money. 

He made AI think that whenever money was sent in (which he was doing), it should then respond with an Approve Transfer, which released the money. This guy won $47k. 

I thought that was cool. The way you can train AI and reroute its problematic issues. 

#3 - People in groups sharing how they're using it has been eye opening. Some of the ways people use AI include:

• Helping men understand their wives or women understand their husbands when issues arise.

• Coming up with fun parent-child activities
