Hi
I took a couple of days off to just usher in Fall. Made some homemade organic spaghetti sauce, got the house clean and ready for Christmas and worked on fiction. SO happy about my fiction (I'm working on a thriller short series - let me know what you think of my blurb at the bottom of this email - and a women's fiction novel).
There are some great new sales launching right now that I'll tell you
about below. For the Kindling 2.0ers, check the private blog posts - new content there. Should be #18.

Health Journey
I made a spaghetti sauce from scratch that I tried redoing with organic ingredients for the most part. I do use crumbles instead of ground beef (I just gross myself out with ground anything) and the tomatoe items like sauce and paste were not organic because anytime I've deviated with other products for those it threw off the
taste.
But the onions, bell peppers, garlic, mushrooms, spaghetti and bread that I made garlic toast with were all organic. I also had a Mexican Coke. It isn't made with high fructose corn syrup, but natural cane sugar. It wasn't impressive, though. I won't be getting another one. Scarlett had wanted to try one so I did too but meh. She didn't care for it either. We've both been drinking nothing but water (and coffee for me) so
it was nice to have something different but glad it's not a craving anymore.
I was SO happy to find pomegranates! I don't think they sell organic ones here but I'm hoping because the outside of it is so thick, the organic part wouldn't matter as much. Maybe fewer pesticides get in if they're even used. I have no idea. I could live on these. So mad I didn't try them until I was in my 40s. So many years missed on the perfect
fruit.
Christmastime is coming and I have favorites I always make. I'm going to give myself leeway whenever I do. For example, homemade fudge, my casseroles, and so on. Whatever can be subbed with organic, I'll do it. But I won't fret if it can't.
Hope everyone on my list is doing okay. It's devastating in the South right now with the hurricane, chemical fires,
etc. I know war is raging elsewhere. Try to ground yourself in the positive whenever possible. This is one reason why my son convinced me to do the positive fiction. We need more of it in the world. More kindness and love and peace.
Thriller Blurb - Does It Sound Enticing?
One man's obsession. A neighborhood's dark secrets. A
truth that will shatter everything.
James Henderson's past taught him to be vigilant about his surroundings. So when he witnesses a disturbing encounter next door, he knows something is terribly wrong.
Warned to leave it alone, James can't help but dig deeper. What he uncovers is a web of lies
that goes far beyond the house next door. As his fixation deepens, reality blurs, trust erodes, and James begins to question everything--his neighbors, his fiancee, and his own judgment.
What he thought he saw might destroy people's lives. What he missed might be even worse. In a game where everyone has something to hide, being right could cost him everything. One truth is certain: someone is
lying. And the danger is closer than he ever imagined.
A pulse-pounding psychological thriller that will keep you guessing until the final, shocking twist.
It sounds like something I'd pick up and read!
