End of Year Insight - Plan Your 2025; 3 Post Christmas Deals

Hi
I hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas! I did. My kids got me very thoughtful gifts of things they knew I'd enjoy even though I told them not to get me anything. I loved watching them open
theirs and then we just relaxed and enjoyed leftovers from Christmas Eve.
I didn't finish my oldest son Dylan's stocking until the minute they were set to arrive. But I did it! Those ornaments had about 3 layers each, and they took forever.
Today I'm spending time doing my "finish line/new race" type of mindset I always go into and I have some sage advice for y'all at
the bottom of today's email.
Before that - real quick, let me share 3 good deals you may want to take advantage of and don't forget to sign up for the FREE big online AI Event Matt Bacak has put together. There's no charge to you and it's all about AI for online income:
#1 - Alice Seba has a new PLR called "A Better Me for 2025 Publishing Kit" with 12 complete ready-to-publish courses in it. Each one includes the course outline, eBook w/cover set, 7-day challenge w/image set, journal w/cover and 1 month planners w/cover.
#2 - Sharyn Sheldon has an Annual New Year's Birthday PLR Sale (Coupon Code: NewBday2025 at checkout) that's valid untl January 3rd. It gives you 50% off
anything on the site except stuff that's already discounted.
#3 - PJ Coleman has a report out now showing you the possibilities of content creator funds (and other earnings) using X (Twitter)'s New Royalties Program. I haven't dug into it but I know I've seen people mention raking it in on X now money-wise. I think it works similar to
TikTok but it has Grok built in to help make the content that you can monetize, etc. If you want to check it out, it's live now. And by the way: "Elon Musk's X app has become the top news platform in the US, leading in free and grossing categories on the App Store." So if your niche is anything newsworthy, this might be highly lucrative for you. But it's also in the top 6 of all social media apps for stuff other than news.
End
of Year Insight - Ready for 2025?
I'll be back to PLR tomorrow but after a relaxing Christmas day, I spend today in pure planner mode. As a consistent six figure earner online for about 20+ years now, let's cover what my process is like so you can adopt some of the same srategies if it meets your needs...
#1 - I Reassess Everything!
I go over the niches I'm in, the business models I have and first decide what to chop. I never chop if there's a possibility for improvements. In those cases, I make a plan for tweaks. But sometimes it's just a case of sheer lack of enjoyment. I get rid of anything I can't stand. Sometimes you don't know until you start something whether or not you'll enjoy it. If it's underperforming financially and I don't have a remedy, I cut it.
#2 - I Audit What I'm Paying For!
I've signed up for stuff like the rest of you and end up not using it, not liking it, or simply investing in something else I like better. Here's what I currently pay for that I like:
MalwareBytes (they have a free version but I do paid)
Carbonite Backup
(ongoing because I never want to have a crash again)
Claude.AI
ChatGPT
Ideogram
AWeber
Vimeo
GoDaddy domains
Elementor
Siteground Hosting
Amazon S3 Hosting
Optimize Press
I might add Gemini Advanced
because the 2.0 flash is great!
#3 - I Audit What I'm Using
Not what I'm paying for, but what I'm using. Like social media sites and apps, tools (even the free ones), research, strategies, etc. Is there something better, faster, more accurate, more fun? I want to analyze it all.
#4 - I Clean Everything Up
My files get cleaned, my links and bookmarks, my subscriber list, etc. Some things perform better when cleaned up. Others are just easier to navigate. I also clean up friends' lists, unfollow accounts, and so on.
#5 - I Go Into Competitive Optimization Mode
This is the task I don't like. It means change but it's necessary. What do I have to start doing differently to compete? To stay relevant? To earn more?
I may need to learn a new skill, come up with something unique to set me apart, think outside the box, etc. It can be draining, but sometimes fun when you have a lightbulb moment.
And with AI,
it might be even easier. For example, I could prompt AI something like this, "In my business model for [niche], I do things this way [insert specifics]. I want to ramp things up and earn more, competing at the next level. Give me ideas for implementing a plan that would help me achieve that goal."
#6 - I Look Back on What My Audience Responded Best To.
For
example, I can look at the stats for all my PLR in the last 12 months and see what sold best. I can plan based off that AND with a forward-thinking approach for what will put you on the cusp of having better content that I release.
Sometimes I do a content calendar but other times I fly by the seat of my pants. I ALSO look at what the audiences are responding best to for OTHER peoples' launches. What's on the bestseller lists,
what are people talking about, and so on.
#7 - I Analyze My Processes
I have GOT to find a way to balance fiction and my online business better. To date I have not hit on the right formula. But it's a work in progress. I'll be testing this again this year and seeing if I can find what works for me. It's definitely better than before, but I'm not quite
there yet.
By the way, speaking of fiction, several people emailed me about the Christmas story and use of AI, shocked that it turned out so well. I learned most of it in the Kindling 2.0 course. Some of it I do my own way, but he teaches it
great if this is something you want to try in 2025.
#8 - I Check My Mindset
Some years, you're mentally drained. Sometimes you're fired up. It might depend on how you end your year, but one thing is for certain - 2025 is a BLANK SLATE and it can be anything you set your mind to!
If my
mindset is off, I have a "come to Jesus" meeting with myself, where I lay down the law, kick my own butt and ensure nothing will hold me back in the coming year.
I'm sure to stumble along the way, but I will crawl through broken glass to try to achieve my goals. I saw an amazing social quote poster yesterday:
This is so true!
If you're awake, alive, capable - pursue your dreams. So many never get that opportunity or have lost it.
I
don't care if you create a vision board, do daily affirmations, or just check in regularly with yourself to fuel your fire - you have to get your mindset straight or it will be your worst enemy.
On another note, make sure you have your black eyed peas, gold potatoes and collard greens to eat on New Year's Day. It might be a Southern lore, but it's a staple year after year. 😂
I hope your 2024 ending is going to bring you some relief and that you feel fired up to usher in a strong 2025.
