January Affiliate Challenge, New Year Success, My 2016 Wishes for You

Well that was such a relaxing couple of days! Today the cable guy comes, and poor guy will have to maneuver past our Christmas chaos to install cable in my daughter’s room for her TV. A least I have an excuse for the mess. Any other day of the year, I wouldn’t.
Today I’m planning and working! Going to do a bit for my current private challenge people learning PLR and then get some stuff done on my fiction book. I’m so excited about the one I just published because it’s already brought in over $1,000 and it just went live on the 16th! Can’t wait to do a fiction challenge with y’all later this year.
Okay here’s what I have for you today…
#1 – January Affiliate Challenge
Well I can’t even begin to tell y’all how excited I am about this affiliate challenge. I have some new affiliates onboard promoting it so we are welcoming in a brand new group of men and women to my challenge – and it just feels so rewarding because I know my existing subscribers will make them feel welcome. People always comment to me about how unusually close the camaraderie is in my groups.
I know I’m all sappy right now because it’s the holidays, but I just settle into these group challenges like it’s a fun event with friends. Doesn’t feel like work to me.
So in case you’re new to the idea, the January challenge is all about affiliate marketing. We’ll be building a WordPress site, doing all kinds of research and niche learning in the first 10 days. And then we’ll move onto content creation in a variety of formats and styles for the last 21 days of the month.
This is NOT some challenge where you have to be there at a certain time or day. Go at your own pace. But preferably, go along with us so you don’t grant yourself an excuse.
I’ll be promoting a mix of Amazon, ClickBank and JVZoo – maybe some other stuff in there. My site will be in the survival niche, but only because I’m WAY into the idea of prepping. So choose something you ENJOY!
My son’s into it, too, so he’ll be making videos with me (all plays into the theme of my site as you’ll soon see). In fact, he asked for some survival stuff for Christmas so I might review some of that! You don’t have to own anything though.

#3 – What I Wish for You in 2016

You know what struck me this morning as I was doing dishes?
We work really hard to keep our homes clean and kept up in terms of home improvement. We give our kids our utmost attention – keeping them in perfect health and doing what we can to ensure their happiness. We even go the extra mile to spiff up our cars, keep the oil in check, make sure the tires are aired up, and so on.
Soooooooooooo many of us just flat out fail to give ourselves that same level of attention when it comes to pursuing this career. You’d never ride on a nearly flat tire – you’d fix it so it doesn’t blow out. But you’ll let your own energy and attention drain out and quit something because you don’t care enough about your own efforts to prevent it from blowing up.
It’s time for a change.
