Happy New Year - Working Hard Yet?

Published: Fri, 01/01/16

Hi !

It's 6:30 PM and I'm still working hard today. Why don't I take off? Well, I crave success - that's why. I love the feeling. I love being able to give my kids what they need and want. I love helping people.

If you started 2016 off with a mindset where you crave this business, like those who love solving puzzles, it will serve you better than if you woke up with a mentality of dread and trepidation.

I'll stop working here shortly (only a few more things to do), but I wanted to check in with you and see how you plan to change for the better in 2016 mindset wise.

I actually put into practice what I had hoped to improve on this year and it made things SO much better.

I got an email from Paypal that said my account had been limited. I was thinking it was spam, but no - this one was real. Normally, I'd have panicked. I didn't. I logged in and simply went through the verification steps to restore access.

That felt weird. Good weird.

Then I was creating a video for my affiliate marketing challengers and I had a technical issue crop up - one that would normally have had me in tears of confusion. Nah. Not today. Not in 2016, baby! I picked up the phone and called Hostgator and discovered there's a teeny glitch that sometimes happens and Poof! He fixed it.

I mean, now I'm really wondering why I didn't do this before.

Our old habits and self talk are so damaging, so I hope before you start implementing anything, you clean out the cobwebs there first - get your head on straight and don't listen to the lies your mind will tell you when it says you're not competitive, too stupid or old or whatever derogatory adjective it uses.

I hope if you're involved in affiliate marketing, that you've joined my challenge here:

I just sent out the first lesson on picking a niche and a domain to the participants. I'm right there in the trenches with them, doing every step as they do. And you can join any time, not just January 1st.

After I send out this email, I'm heading into the kitchen to cook all the Southern good luck foods - black eyed peas, collard greens and cabbage, tomatoes, fried potatoes and some buttermilk fried chicken to go with it.

the kids and I are really enjoying our new dining room table. And plans this year include a TON of house overhaul - wood floors (goodbye carpet), new bathroom and more! I guess I'd better work hard to pay for all that.

What are you striving to achieve? Helps to have goals in the line of sight!

Tiff ;)
