Free Series Starts Today, Niche Promo Tip, Pinterest Tool I'll Be Using

Published: Mon, 07/04/16

Hi !

I had a great birthday yesterday and today I'm working hard before we have a BBQ and enjoy fireworks tonight to celebrate our country's Independence. And heartfelt gratitude to all the men and women who have fought to secure and defend our freedom - my babies and I appreciate you!

So let's go over a few things because I have some free ideas and a series in here for you!

- Niche Promo Tip

I'm on Amazon and I'm an Amazon Prime member. Best thing for online shopping ever. So when I saw that Barb Ling had created an Amazon Prime Day Cheatsheet, I thought I'd share a strategy tip about how to best put this to use (it's under $4, so might as well grab it):

So when you download the cheat sheet (as I did), go through and bookmark the links she gives. She has the steps laid out for you, but what I wanted to do was share something specifically about niche promos for Prime Day. Prime Day is a specific sales day (better than Black Friday) for Prime members only.

If you're not a Prime member yet, you can be here (Prime Day is July 12th):

The good news is, even if you click that link above and sign up for a free 30-day trial, you STILL get to take advantage of Prime Day.

So let's say you're in the cooking niche. You could do a blog post for Prime Day where blog post #1 shares the benefits of Prime in general - have them sign up under your link and invite them to an event that you are hosting on Facebook.

Make the FB event specifically for your niche. Go through and look for deals that are about to begin and put them on your watch list. You can have notifications sent to you on a mobile app that alerts you to when a deal on certain items are about to begin, and then notify your followers.

So here's the Deals page (bookmark it): http://amzn.to/29iEund

On the left sidebar, you'll see your categories. So if you're in the kitchen niche, click that - if you're in the anti aging niche, go to beauty. For example, when I click on the kitchen one, I see one item I could watch if I were doing the whole Meal Prep niche, like the PLR I recently released. It's for this product:

When the sale went live for Prime Day, I'd tell people in a post in my FB event that they could go NOW and grab it. It'd be a fun event and the earlier you tell people about it and let them save up, the better.

- Pinterest Too I'll Be Using by Lisa Deveraux

This is something I stumbled upon, and you'll see what my niche is going to be in my free series link below. I suggest you go to the page and scroll down to where it says "Watch the PinUp Chrome Extension Video Tutorial" because that is what amazed me. I'll be using this!

Really loved the market research portion at about the 3:40 mark. And I'll use this for more than pins - I'll use it for blog posts, etc. Nice! And the part that basically turns Pinterest into an opt in situation of sorts is cool. I like that you can use it on multiple accounts, so if you're in more than 1 niche (as I am), this will help me.

- Success from Scratch Free Series

I got started on the free series I was telling y'all about. This is where you'll have the chance to see me build a business in a niche I'm not currently in - and surely not an expert in - from start to finish. You'll see what I do technically and mindset-wise as well as why i do certain things strategically.

Can't go wrong with no cost. Not everything will apply to you - just pick up whatever nuggets you enjoy along the way!
