Tips, Domains & Warning Re: Pokemon Go Niche + Success from Scratch Series

Published: Sat, 07/16/16

Hi !

My vacation is coming up VERY fast and I have SO much to do. It makes me work frantically. I'm not used to not working, so being on a road trip and out doing fun stuff with my kids means I won't be doing it (I'm sure it'll be good for me - just awkward feeling).

Before I tell y'all about my new tips, real quick - what I had told y'all about (and created a tutorial for) regarding eBook profits ends today.

Product that ends (now under $10):

Okay let's get going!

You've probably gotten inundated by Pokemon Go offers (I know I have as an affiliate) - and like me, you should be picky about what you buy and what you consider.

Immediately, I got about 7 Facebook messages and emails from people who wanted me to promote PLR and courses. I stayed calm, considered what was in this for my subscribers, and had to think, "Is there even a profit strategy in this niche?"

I also instantly thought of a major mistake I'll bet so many of you are making already if you DID decide to go into it. It is swarming all over the world right now - my whole town's gone nutty - Pokemon people everywhere - police officers playing it, grown ups, young adults and kids.

I'll tell you that when Pokemon first launched as a card game, we loved playing it with my son (one Christmas all we got each other were rare Pokemon cards - and I swear I'm not normally a dork!). It was just that fun.

Have you seen the funny video of the park with people swarming a Charizard Pokemon? You have to see this - it's what every major location looks likes now:

And what happens in Central Park when a rare Vaporeon shows up? This! (LOL):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoWe5G7wCNA (look at that guy stop his car in mid traffic to run and catch it LOL! Hundreds of people swarming).

My hairdresser has it. Walmart has it. My police station has it. You can't escape it. I've never seen so many walkers in my neighborhood EVER. And my kids are making a gazillion new friends. I love it.

All of my kids play it (I don't have time - someone's gotta earn the money). But I have NO problem with people leaving the whole politics and world is crumbling talk behind for some good, clean fun that is bringing people together.

So profits... and problems...

First of all, you have a couple of options on slants. You could build a site JUST off game play tips and strategy. I know they're making $2 million a day off sales with this App. Which means you can too. I know my son and his girlfriend spend money on it. Barb Ling has the best "profit cheatsheet" on Pokemon Go teaching you how to earn for under $3.50 right now here:

And by the way - my son and his girlfriend have a "day we met" date night every 12th of the month. This month, he bought her 2 Pokemon t-shirts (it's usually romantic stuff but this time, this is what she wants!) and she's buying him some cool new Pokemon watch gadget that means you don't have to use your phone for his birthday - so profits? Yeah.

But what about content?

I know many of you aren't experts (hey that's part of the fun of leading a niche is doing and sharing), but if you don't want to, then use PLR. I had to see what all was coming out - with my vacation coming up, I had NO time to do this.

One of my FAVORITE slants for this niche is fitness. My poor son, Dylan, who is on a weight GAINING journey, can't keep any gains on due to how much he's walking. All my kids are. It's great.

Casey Anders has THE best Pokemon Fitness PLR launching today - on a $12 domesale here - and I felt it was THE best for PLR content that actually focuses on profit potential (especially those comparison articles - you're looking at good tech gadget sales because people will want both):

So if you have a health or fitness site, this is a great way to weave in something fun - even anti aging (I know a TON of grandmas downloading this App and playing with the grandkids)! Casey's pack includes:

WARNING: Here's where the problems come in. What about a domain? Whatever you do (and if you already did this, I'm sorry but delete it and restart) - do NOT buy a domain with the name Pokemon or Nintendo or any other gaming brand in it.

They'll eventually shut you down and you'll lose ALL your hard work. Instead, grab a fitness gaming domain such as (and YES these are all available):

- GamingForFitness.com
- GetFitWhileGaming.com
- HaveFunGettingFit.com
- FitnessAndGamingGuide.com
- MobileGamingFitness.com
- FitWhileGaming.com
- GamersGuideToFitness.com
- MobileFitnessFun.com
- FunFitnessGaming.com
- MobileFitnessGames.com

You'll need a lot of content. And luckily for you, many PLR providers met that need ASAP such as:

Arun Chandran's Pokemon Go PLR Articles: https://warriorplus.com/o2/a/rqzzs/0

Jenn Dize's Pokemon Go PLR Guide: http://jvz5.com/c/5810/226969

Jessica Woods's Pokemon Go Articles: http://jvz5.com/c/5810/227061

Alessandro Zamboni's Pokemon Go Cheatsheet: https://warriorplus.com/o2/a/vqkyv/0

So there it is - there are tons of ways to profit, it's HUGE and lasting, has a WIDE demographic, and there's a ton of content ready for you and I gave you 10 available domains that not ONLY let you promote Pokemon Go, but build an evergreen site with fitness and fun mixed in.

Now, let's move on to the Success from Scratch where I'm letting people watch as I build my MindfulEatingMyWay.com site!
