1 Week from Today, Fiction/Non Authors, Bonuses Now and Coming Up

This is poised to be a hectic week with my first parent sports meetings, senior portraits, and another college visit. Better sneak in some work when I have the time!
I'm about to embark on a new Kindle fiction challenge a week from today (it's a mini 2-week challenge where we take a pre-made Kindle plot (everyone finds their own) and we work with it to create a 10k word short story and publish it on Kindle.
Some people may opt to lengthen it to a full novel, and that's fine, too. I just wanted to do 2 things with this challenge:
1. Implement and use a pre-made plot (I've never done it - should be fun) and...
2. Get people over their fear of self publishing by starting with a short story of 10k words.

I can't wait to start this challenge. I feel like unless it's woven into my work schedule, I tend to put fiction on the backburner and I shouldn't! It's paid my entire mortgage - that's worth pursuing.
