Yesterday's senior photo shoot was amazing. The photography studio has a beautiful garden with rich hues of green in the back, and I loved my son's pictures. Too bad they cost an arm and a leg or I'd buy them ALL! I also couldn't help think like a marketer when I asked if they'd keep the digital files for me to come back later to buy more and they said no.
Missed money opportunity there! I can buy a $400 package for one 8x10 and to 5x7s but if they'd keep the files on hand, I might come back for $1k package or more. Oh well. I wanted to scream, "But that's bad business!" LOL I didn't.

By the way, some of you are emailing me asking why I'm not promoting certain things that launched this week. I know they sound awesome - but I don't promote things if I've had a bad experience with the vendor, or feel the product isn't worth your money.
I'm usually very aware of what's launching so if I'm not promoting, there's a good reason why. I just don't actively email out bashing something I'm not promoting for no reason. I also stay very aware of who IS promoting it because as a consumer myself, I now know whose recommendations not to trust.
I noticed one friend on FB bought and refunded a product on the bestseller list. He checked out their massive refund rate after the fact and was appalled that so many people he used to respect promoted it. People just flat out don't check products or vendors. Sad.
