Careful of Givers, 35 Tips for Lead Gen

Published: Mon, 08/01/16

Hi !

You know what I find cool? The fact that YouTubers can gain more celebrity than Hollywood people. Social networks are so influential and kind of level the playing field for everyone.

My daughter wanted a cake with a picture laser printed on it with frosting (sooo cool they can do that now) - and she chose a pair of YouTubers to go on it. Not a Disney star or a tween in a movie, but ordinary YouTubers who make her laugh. I know my mom would have been mortified if I'd asked for that because I would have had Motley Crue or David Lee Roth on every single cake. Technology spared her.

Anyway, today I'm gearing up for the big carpool scene for back to school sports, but I've been working! Here's what I have to share with you...

#1 - Givers Are Great - But They May Be Hurting You

Kind of a strange concept, but there's a limit to how much giving a marketer should do before it begins to hurt you as a student of theirs. Read about what you need to look out for here:

#2 - 35 Lead Gen Tips

Well I got asked to contribute to this article and I could have sworn we were told 50 words or less, and it looks like most people didn't follow the rules. LOL! But maybe I misunderstood. so I look kind of foolish being so simplified at #24 on the list. Thought I'd share because some others have some great tips, too:

Okay I'm off to brainstorm on the couch now :) TV in the background for those much-needed breaks.

Tiff ;)
