Survey for You, More Tips for Niche Plans!
Published: Fri, 09/02/16
Guess what I get to do tonight? Taking my kids to my alma mater (their current school) and sitting in the car for the duration of the football game. I don't feel like people-ing. Ever feel that way? So I plan to get dinner and work. I have lots of brainstorming to do.
Yesterday was FANtastic. Aside from my son passing his driver's test, I came home and cleaned and relaxed (I'm watching Wentworth right now on Netflix) and just lazily worked here and there. We all need down time!
Today I have 2 things to share with you.
#1 - Survey - Can I Pick Your Brain?
I got a FLOOD of emails yesterday with y'all appreciating my email about niche selection and reasons. People had fun with it, had a lot of lightbulb moments, etc. So it helps if I can see where you're struggling.
One thing that often gets said to me is, "Whew! I buy tons of PLR but I'd never done anything with it until your lesson."
ACK! What? I want y'all using my PLR. Not burning money. So I'm developing my next challenge which will be SO beneficial to those of you with poor writing skills or no time to write. It's called Build a Business Using Nothing But PLR.
It's going to cover using PLR for both affiliate marketing and info product sales. Of course there are other ways it can be used - membership sites, AdSense, and even YouTube revenue - but I won't be covering that - just the big two.
I have a few questions before I start planning it. Take my survey here and get as detailed as you can:

After all, this is to help YOU, not me. I already know how to use PLR (and I do).
#2 - More Niche Marketing Tips
I got myself so excited with toilet seats yesterday that I bought another toilet seat domain and started blogging. LOL! I do this to myself. Sometimes I get bored with existing sites and want to start from scratch. It's like a blank canvas, which is why I have more than 1 site per niche.
Plus, you can rank for multiple sites. That means you take up more room on Google page 1. That means more sales. More commission. More tuition money for my babies. Ha! :)
So today's tip ties into my survey above. You have PLR content about low carb, right? For example, my PLR bonus that's exclusive for JR's 300-piece low carb PLR launch includes (as one of the parts of my bonus), a short report about diets that are friendly to low carb meal planning.
It includes info about:
- The Atkins Diet
- The Dukan Diet
- The Paleo Diet
- The Mediterranean Diet
- The Bulletproof Diet
So when you go buy PLR, look at every element and ask yourself, "How can that be monetized?" Let's cover it. You seriously would not BELIEVE how many times a subscriber has asked me to look at their site and see why they haven't made any money, only to discover they haven't added any links to anything the could sell.
- For Atkins, you can promote all of Atkins' books, food scales, his Atkins snacks (sold on Amazon - and they're good, I liked them), keto strips to test for ketosis, exercise equipment, meal prep containers, and even athletic shoes and workout clothes (don't forget gym bags, too).
- For the Dukan Diet, in addition to the books and snacks, there are also a line of supplements. And if you promote something like the Dukan muffin mix, then also recommend the best muffin cookware out there - and maybe the little paper liners or foil ones, too. Add in a promo for the airtight tupperware type container to keep the muffins moist and mold free for days.
- For the Paleo Diet - of course books again, but also thee are crates of snacks available for this, or they can buy them individually. But let's talk about something Paleo eaters would miss - bread. There are Paleo bread mixes, and what better to accompany that in your post than a bread maker? Again, the usual keto strips, meal prep containers, etc. can be promoted, but books are huge - and on Paleo, so is meat. How about all sorts of grilling for the Paleo products? Grills, meat smokers, etc. would be perfect!
- For the Mediterranean Diet - yes, books (we get it!) but also other cookware perfect for this niche, like pizza and pasta kitchen tools - or vegetable slicers. And surely, don't forget the vast array of delicious olive oils you can buy! People buy based on the region it comes from - Greece, Italy, California, and Spain. They also want to know if it's certified organic or not. These keywords are all on the left sidebar of Amazon - helping you find what you want, so Amazon is sharing it's keyword research with you RIGHT there.
So if you see a recipe in the pack for a Mediterranean dish, you might write a short blog post about the best olive oil for the Mediterranean Diet and then at the END, share that PLR recipe as a perk! Promote the olive oil and any other tools mentioned in the recipe.
Another tip - look on the covers of the books on Amazon. What TOOLS are being used? Is it a crockpot? Or take a look at this book cover:

See the kabobs? Automatically, I know I can promote kabob skewers, racks, kabob grills and kabob baskets. There's also a kabob wheel. Who knew, right? Add it in. Use book covers to spur ideas.
- For the Bulletproof Diet, do I need to say books? LOL! So the focus is coffee and coconut oil for many people, so there you go - coffee grounds, beans and makers and tons of coconut oils. Look up grass fed as a keyword, too. It's big on that. The coffee is known as "upgraded coffee" so right then, you feel special. You're on a coffee level mere mortals can't understand. And there are coffee starter kits for about $100 on Amazon for Bulletproof lovers.
Okay so I hope that helps. Buy PLR, hone in on one aspect and brainstorm monetization.
Grab JR's product and my massive bonus - Only on Sale Price for FOUR more DAYS here:

In addition to her 300 low carb PLR pieces, you also get my 10 articles, a 5+ page report, 5 product reviews and 25 domains that were available at launch.
You can do this same system with all PLR. If you bought my new 2016 Halloween PLR (on sale for a few more days), you'd be able to add on monetization options. The PLR is here:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/bigplrevent.com/2016halloween.html
So let's say you bought it and wanted to use the article on Lego Ninjago costumes. What else could you promote in the same blog post review? How about something along the lines of, "Psst! Mom and Dad - listen up! Your kid wants to be a Lego Ninjago character for Halloween, but Christmas is coming up, too. How about grabbing the Character Encyclopedia or the new Misfortunte's Keep just released this year!"
Cross promote stuff other than costumes - fan gear. It goes over BIG in this niche because people are already buying for Christmas (And yes, I want to hate those earlybird perfect parents who get all shopping done by October but I'm secretly trying to be one of them).
Tiff ;)
