Healthy Blog Profit Tips - Plus Good Deals Coming Your Way (And a Gift)

Published: Fri, 10/21/16

Hi !

I had a few relaxing days somewhat off (not really, but more than usual). It's gorgeous here - woke up in the low 50s and this is homecoming weekend at my alma mater where my kids go now, so lots of fun activities for us. Right now I'm finishing up work to head to the doctor to see if she can clear up these allergies that are bogging my head down like a 2-ton tumbleweed.

So a few things for you to check out, including a blog post by me - and I'll be brief:

1. How Many of You Have Used Alternative Therapy for Anything?

I was going through a course that got release (reading the main report and articles) about EFT (by Kate Reiger) and I was thinking about how many people I know who have used any sort of alternative therapy for something - emotions, sleep, addictions, pain - you name it.

Have you ever used anything that helped you that wasn't in prescription form? I have and it weirded me out, to be honest. It was at the height of my divorce when I had broken free of an abusive husband and was being threatened, the kids were scared, etc.

My nutritionist mentioned that during my sessions I was barely breathing. When she said it I noticed it. VERY shallow - and my whole body felt tense like when you turn a corner and someone startles you. I was in that mode 24/7, even when sleeping as I would tense up and gasp awake - not from snoring - but from fear.

So she asked me if I'd be open to trying something they use on PTSD troops that was called EMDR. Basically, they have your eyes focused on something else (in my case, a pairing of flashes of lights - like some 70s movie - lol - and her finger moving back and forth) while they talk you through a scene.

Well for me, it was being unable to stir my coffee in the morning without feeling intense fear because even though he had just moved out, I still felt like if my spoon touched the side of the cup, I'd be yelled at. So I relived it while looking at the lights and her finger.

And in the beginning my shoulders tightened and I stopped breathing to a crawling pace. But as she took me through it, I was eventually relaxed and okay. It dissipated and most of the time, it's fully gone, although once in awhile I tense up to this day.

Anyway, it's one of the only alternative therapies I've ever used and I was shocked and almost amazed at how it worked. Kate's pack is on EFT - a tapping and meditation type technique that helps free people from unsavory emotions.

You can read about it here - the quality of the content is good:

Let me know if you've ever seen success with some sort of alternative therapy or medicine - I'm always researching that stuff.

2. 3 Day Opening for Fitness PLR Membership

Ruth Pound's 30 Day Fitness Challenge PLR is the new pack for her Fitness PLR Membership and it's only for 3 more days then it closes to new members. It's super cheap, but very well-written content:

Comes with all sorts of good stuff - an eBook, report, infographic, reviews, emails, articles, social media posts, images and more.

3. Healthy Blog Profits Need a Mix of Approaches

My latest blog post answering a great series of questions that came in from a subscriber. Read about it here:

4. Comfort Food - Unique Way to Use This Even If It's NOT Your Niche

Okay April and Jennifer have a new PLR bundle on comfort food ready below, but I want to let you guys know that this is a PERFECT pack to use even if it's not your niche.

How so? Well meals are something heavily shared on Facebook, for instance. Doesn't matter what niche, people pipe up with pics of their food. I will often mention something I'm making and get tons of comments, PMs or emails asking me for the recipe.

So you can add these to your arsenal of "personalization" for FB. Share the recipes, discuss things like for instance, if it mentions chicken noodle soup, I might talk about how my poor grandmother on my dad's side once took care of me when I was sick and my Mom told her I might like chicken noodle soup (I was visiting her in Florida). She walked over with a boiled chicken leg sticking out of a bowl of broth with some sort of corn meal and I started bawling. LOL!

I just wanted my Mom. But my grandmother was from a different era - not the Campbell's soup kind. And then I'd share the recipe in the PLR pack and discuss how I'm going to try making it. Engage your audience with stuff like this! Food is a uniter!

5. Free Gift: Personal Read Rights Only

Many of you have heard me talking about my Wealth Abundance PLR launch this week. I'm very proud of it. It's a set of six short reports meant to help readers motivate themselves into action.

I took one of THE most important reports (in my opinion) from the pack and turned it into a PDF for you to read (not use as PLR) if you need it.

It's called Do You Feel Worthy of Being Paid for Advice - and I ask that question because so many of you find excuses NOT to make progress where you have those buy buttons up. So this COULD be what's stopping you.

Download the PDF and read it here:

The entire series can be purchases as PLR here - the sale on those ends in 3 days:

Tiff ;)
