Just Took a FB Group Course for Newbies - Plus, Time for Blog Content Evolution
Published: Fri, 12/02/16
I was so annoyed yesterday when I dug into one of my new entrepreneurial magazines and saw it was nothing but a spammy full magazine ad of all Nerium stuff. I saw something about Nerium on the cover but thought that was like a feature story and not THEIR magazine. It was called Success from Home, so I thought it was all sorts of WAH ideas.
Oh well. Lesson learned.
Last night I dug into a Facebook groups course that's good for everyone - including newbies. Now it says you don't need your own site BUT the plugin that comes with it is installed on a WP blog, so I'd personally recommend you own a domain with WordPress on it.
I found out it because Mike from Maine sent me the info - it's his and Brett Rutecky's product . I love Mike's online name that he branded - "Mike from Maine." I can't NOT read it without it sounding like "Jake from State Farm: in my head - that was some brilliant marketing.
Anyway, It's called Group Traffic Profits (Read my take on the name below) and it's about using Facebook groups (which are free) to build relationships - which ultimately drives traffic to offers. Perfect for affiliates. Good for any niche you want to use it in. It ALSO works to help promote your OWN products if you don't want to use it as an affiliate.
The course (which comes with software and a plugin - you don't have to pay extra) is on sale for 3 days only here:

It's set up with 3 parts:
Part #1 is the step-by-step video training.
Part #2 is the tool he uses to teach you - which is a nice, easy drag and drop software.
Part #3 is a plugin that's used to make the actual graphic clickable in the group.
I logged into the training area and here's what I went through:
- Video #1 was an explanation about why they use FB groups for this system. It's 6:54 minutes.
- Video #2 teaches you how to create and set up the group, in case you've never done it. It's 10:42 minutes.
- Video #3 is just 4:34 minutes and it's his recommendation of first post for the group & what gets pinned.
- Video #4 shows you how to manually add members (and mistakes made). It's 1:51 minutes long.
- Video #5 is about how to use Facebook Ads to build the group IF you want to. It's 16:29 minutes.
- Video #6 shows you how to boost posts. It's 3:52.
- Video #7 is about using free forums. This is another way (the free one) to build your group. It's 5:28 minutes.
- Video #8 is a strategy about backend bonuses. It's 3:41 minutes.
- Video #9 teaches you about approving group members and posts they want to post (moderating). It's 4:03 minutes.
- Video #10 shows his strategy for making posts to the group. It's 6:45. This is where the plugin is introduced.
- Video #11 is 5:55 and it's how he uses freebies for building rapport and making future sales.
- Video #12 teaches his Image creation process using software. It's 6:24 minutes.
- Video #13 is a demo of a promo and it's 4:45 minutes.
- Video #14 is a closing video of Brett speaking to us on video. It's 1:37 minutes.
So far, all I've done is literally go through and watch all the video tutorials. This weekend, I'll be playing around with the software and plugin to see how it all works firsthand. I like what I saw, though! And in the past, these 2 have proven reliable in terms of quality and ethics for me.
Both Brett and Mike have won awards from JVZoo as two of their top affiliates. I'm a six figure marketer, with at least $50k or more coming from JVZoo and I haven't achieved this, so they're making bank and I want to listen to their advice.
Are there any one time offers? Yes. Two. The main product is starting out at $24.95 (not sure if it's a dimesale or not). OTO #1 is a 1-4 week series of live training, extra templates and a free ProfitCanvas account for $67. And OTO #2 is unlimited reseller for $97.
So name wise, I want to be specific about something. YES it will result in traffic. But I feel the course is much more instrumental on teaching you how to build a thriving FB group and relationships with your audience by catering to their needs. That will ultimately create people who follow your links and buy your stuff - but it's a thorough course for people unfamiliar with FB groups.
I saw several bonuses built in (the bonuses other affiliates will probably tout as something special they created lol). There was access to his FB group, access to four WordPress Plugins, and a few others that look like they're from partners.
So MY recommendation is that this is a great video step by step tutorial for people who want to learn FB group marketing. They did a great job on that and offer both free and low pay ideas for building your group into a large one.
Remember, it's on sale for 3 days ONLY here:

Now the second thing I did was create a blog post for you. It's about how we may need to evolve for our blog readers. Seth Godin (as angry as I am at him for how he treated Squidoo members) is a good example of what I discuss today...
