Extend Your Amazon Cookie, Never Created an Info Product? Question...

Published: Sat, 02/25/17

Hi !

I had a great day yesterday and I thought it was going to be grueling! The floor guys came to measure for us and then I went to y daughter's 50s themed cotillion event (with pre and after parties, so lots of socialization for parents). It was so fun seeing the girls dressed poodle skirts and the boys in white t-shirts, jeans a leather jackets.

I'm working today - getting caught up on my challenge creation for how to create a challenge, and also working on some fiction. I'm wondering if others struggle with something I struggle with - imagining yourself in a specific career way of life. IE: I know what my IM day is like - coffee, check emails, check stats, make a to do list, work on networking, complete projects, schedule things, etc. But I can't picture myself doing fiction full time. What would my day be like? It's odd, so I flounder.

Do fiction writers have coffee, then interact with fans on FB or do they get right to work on plots? I can't visualize it because I'm ignorant about it, so I can't picture myself doing it and make it happen. I'm weird, I know. LOL!

Okay, here are a couple of good things to consider today:

#1 - Extend Your Amazon Cookie

Many of you know that Kurt Chrisler is my favorite plugin maker. His stuff works well (always) and is easy for tech dummies like me to use. His stuff often works well for Amazon Associates. This one he released this week allows you to extend the typical 24-hour Amazon cookie into a 90-day cookie.

You can see how Azon Profit Engine works here:

As always, I recommend draft so you can tweak the post into something original, but you don't have to do that! I also love that they made sure everything's Amazon compliant in terms of even the buttons (some people are violating the TOS and don't even know it).

I don't use the Onlywire service, but for those who do for traffic, it's built in there, too! You can also do custom ads that aren't Amazon - or custom banners, etc. And you can schedule posts.

So run your keyword, pick which products you want promoted from what it returns, spin the content using the built in spinners, and let it submit to OnlyWire for you. The prices listed update every 24 hours (again, staying in compliance with Amazon TOS)

#2 - Never Created an Info Product?

I remember when I created my very first info product. It was about Squidoo and it was 10 pages for $10. Later it ended up being expanded and costing $47. Then I created a guide about building an eBook Empire. It was so easy once I got going, but very intimidating initially when I felt like there were a gazillion steps and I might not know about one, or forget one.

I didn't know of any course back then, but now you can do a walkthrough with Paul Counts and his Your First Info Product course here (and it comes with PLR rights too)!

So you can use the text and video content to learn how to do it - or to sell the course to others who don't know.

I actually went through the PDF and videos and it's good content. Top quality and the voice in the videos is great, so I wouldn't even bother re-recording unless you just want to.

#3 - Okay I have a question

Sometimes I get asked to promote a PLR launch and I look at the review copy and I can't promote because, although the idea is good and the lessons are well thought out, the writing is not up to par.

In addition to extra content, would you PLR buyers still want to know about these IF I included (as part of the bonus), a copy of the main product (like the eBook) where I have cleaned it up for you? These are typically easy for me to whip through, but for instance, there's one coming up that has great information, but you can tell that the writer wasn't an English speaker.

Would that help, or no?

Let me know. Otherwise, I'll just leave those alone. Kind of a pity too - because there's a lot right with it, and some of these PLR sellers have been told to fix this issue but they haven't.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Tiff ;)
