Sucks to Be a Tech Dummy, BOGOF Sale
Published: Wed, 03/29/17
Yes I'm safe. Kennedale had some massive stormy weather last night. I slept through most of it but I believe I opened an eye during one clap of thunder. Today the streets are littered with branches and my son's girlfriend who lives nearby had her entire fence blown down. We get windy here during Spring!
I was online working last night and caught sight of Liz Tomey doing a FB Live. She's nervous but doing a 90-day live challenge for herself, learning as she goes. This is such a good way of doing it and a good lesson for everyone who doesn't do things until they feel they can do it perfect.
I also appreciated that she didn't sit there wasting MY time by reading comments and having personal chit chat jokes with everyone during her live presentation. She had bulletpoint notes to work from. Very impressed with what she's doing. I want to follow suit and I'm working on getting my nerve up.
Okay here's a Tiff fail and then something for you...
#1 - Sucks to Be a Tech Dummy...
I want you to read the stuff I wrote below. This is me, writing an email the night before a launch AS I'm literally going through the product and implementing it. I always do that because if I don't like something or can't do it, I won't promote it. But what happened is, I ran into a place where I felt it was over my head. There was a guide and videos. But as a tech dummy (hardcore) I find my eyes glazing over and me not being about to comprehend.
Read what's in between the dashes then pick up where I start talking to you again afterwards...

This Taps Into Consumer Urges
If you're on FB, do you have the type of friends whose feed is full of quizzes? As someone who uses surveys fairly often with my list, I can tell you that people love it when you listen to their needs - and ASK about them.
People love taking quick quizzes and surveys - it's like a compulsion for many.
For someone like me, who has one umbrella of teaching making money online - but FOUR unique business branches, it helps to be able to tailor my promotions to each type of interested party.
I got pre-launch access to the Simple Quiz Engine WP plugin by David Perdew of NAMS and Valerie DuVall here:
https://jvz9.com/c/5810/253978
This helps you segment your traffic into specific subscriber funnels based on what they tell you in little easy quiz. And what's cool about this is - when you have your message tailored to their needs, the engagement soars!
I always quiz my subscribers before I create or sell a product. And when I get those answers and design things they asked for, they LOVE the results I deliver.
One of the coolest things this product has is a "Quiz Results Page" that looks incredible - and the people themselves tell you their problem, so the results page speaks directly to that.
It has built in bonuses, too - but only during the launch period - including quiz templates so you don't have to think up anything from scratch. You can get a single site license, unlimited or developers.
You can show all the questions at once or one by one. You can branch the questions, taking them down different paths. You can enable autoresponder sign up (or not) and show or hide a progress bar (as a quiz taker I like them).
----------------------------------------------------
So that's as far as I got. I was using it on my fiction author page and managed to create a quiz with answers and send them to my author page on Amazon. So I didn't totally fail it. But there are some advanced features that I'm just incapable of understanding I think. LOL! So if you ARE adept at that kind of stuff, you'll likely love this tool. I highly suggest the tutorial videos. They were very helpful compared to the guide.
I thought it'd be great for starting my readers off on the right book (short versus novel). It could also be used for other niches, like fitness or diet - directing them to your different programs - or health and anti aging - do they like natural stuff or traditional? The cool thing about it was, whatever their most pressing issue is, you can direct them straight to that product. Don't judge their product based on my scattered tech brain. It took me along time to master simple stuff like WordPress setup. LOL!
#2 - BOGOF Sale
For the next 72 hours, I'm putting my PLR Mini Mart site on a Buy One Get One Free sale. So you go there and pick out the PLR you want to buy. Let's say you create a list of $100 worth of items. Just buy $50 worth of them and send me your receipt with the other $50 worth that you wanted and I'll send you those free.
Or a simpler way of putting it: Buy one Full Content Funnel, get one free. Buy one $10 report, get one $10 pack free. And so on :)
See what you want here:

#3 - Day 4 - Jump on In!
Day 4 of the How to Host a Challenge challenge is going to be published a little later this evening. If you haven't joined in yet, now's the time - it's only $17 to participate (my cheapest challenge to date)!

Oh and for those of you who look back a year ago and realize you've gotten ZERO traction on your goals with your online business - you're not alone. Check out this post I put on FB when we realized something very annoying:

Okay back to work. We SHOULD be getting our Traffic and Conversion notes today so if you bought that through my link, as soon as I see them I'll be starting the implementation review.
Tiff ;)
