Cheat Sheet Decision, Good Post, Last Call, Smart Shopping Tips

Published: Mon, 04/03/17

Hi !

Well I'm loving what I just did this morning - tried out the new Walmart grocery
pickup service here in my neighborhood. Ordered last night, drove up this morning
after dropping my kids off, and they loaded my car with all my groceries! Saves my
knee the wear and tear. Only problem is, I enabled substitutions and they gave me
dark roast coffee instead of medium roast - ack! Will overdo the milk and sugar now
I'm sure.

Okay so lots of good stuff today - I'm in an excited mood!

#1 - Finished the Challenge So Now Let's Try a Cheat Sheet

One of the recurring things I teach in my challenges is research. So my initial Cheat
Sheet will be a Niche Research Reminders sheet for you that's priced under $5. The upgrade
will be for $17 for a video tutorial course on it. Should have it ready in a day or two.
This is stuff I love!

Y'all also gave me a TON of great ideas and feedback for future cheat sheets and mine will
definitely be more than a list of links.

#2 - Last Call - 2 Tier Bonus

Aurelius Tjin's Entrepreneur Disruption that I thoroughly enjoyed reading as a marketer
(which means if you buy the PLR, your people should enjoy it, too) - is ending its sale
so there's only 1 more day! This is a kick in the pants for creativity and innovation as
an entrepreneur.

My bonus to his full biz in a box is that you get to pick any one of my challenges - and
if you also get the upgrade (OTO), you get another challenge OR $100 worth of PLR from my
PLR Mini Mart.

#3 - Good Post

It's rare that I venture into the Warrior Forum anymore but once in awhile in a bored mode,
I'll take a peek to see what's up. Found this interesting read and whoever wrote it did a
superb job. It's called "Need Better Results? Change Your View About Traffic and IM in General."

Pay VERY special attention to #3 in that list. It's what was most important to me.

#4 - Smart Shopping Tips

I see questions from many of my subscribers and challenge participants on a regular basis
about shopping for products or getting burned by poor shopping decisions. So I wanted to let
you see how someone like me shops and what I look for or what's important and what I ignore.

First, I go to the top seller's list on JVZoo to see what's new. I'm always looking for new
ideas and strategies. But topseller status does NOT guarantee great quality. So you have to weed
through it on your own.

Let's go through the example of today's listings.

First I see a lot for Video Templates (3 products in all out of 10). I don't use that kind of
stuff, so I'd pass it up.

Second, I see two similar products about engagement on social networks. One comes off as kind of
spammy to me. The other looks more like "my style," where it's about quality of engagement.
Oddly, the spammier one is higher on the bestseller list and costs more.

I would opt for the more genuine one here: https://jvz9.com/c/5810/256236

Next I see a pro level squeeze page using WordPress product. Usually, the basic level is the
bestseller, but in this case, people are getting the professional level most. I check it out.
It's by a name I trust - Sean Donahoe.

Second thing I look for with this is whether or not it looks easy. I actually read the benefits
on the sales page (I'm a fan of drag n drop) and I watch the sample tutorial video. This would be a
yes from me but I'd probably get the basic level. https://jvz9.com/c/5810/111388

Third analysis shows me a product that is closed about graffiti but it sounds like something I
wouldn't be interested in anyway.

Fourth is a webinar - nope. I hate webinars.

Fifth - now here's one that I might find risky but it would be a risk I'd take. I don't know the
person (Stuart Turnbull) but the name sounds familiar. The sales page is crude and ugly but that
never stopped me because I've seen totally awful products sold from glamorous pages. And by the way,
let this be a lesson for you that even ugly pages can be bestsellers if you have a solid product idea.

It's the topic and the TWIST on it that catches my eye. It's about printable items specifically
(coloring book pages) but it isn't Amazon like everyone else teaches - it's Etsy! Doesn't require
shipping, so this is an interesting slant. I like seeing the screen captures of sales, etc.

https://jvz1.com/c/5810/257111

I actually went on Etsy to look and saw all sorts of people paying $1.50-$4+ per page to print it
off and color it in. WOW! And these people had hundreds of reviews. So they're buying! And that means
I'd have no hesitation investing in this.

Another no brainer would be Chad Eljisr's WordPress Profits PLR Video launch. It's under $7, I know
the names, so I'd grab it to check it out: https://jvz1.com/c/5810/257329

So when I shop, some are throw away money (under $20 or so if it sounds good). Some (over $20), I
analyze a bit to see if I like the topic, and I might check out the "facts" of the sales page (like the
Etsy one).

Others I look at MY personal needs - I LOVE things like social networking, so the engagement one I would
buy to level up my knowledge.

I'm MOST careful with technical stuff, like the Sean Donahoe one. Mainly because techie stuff confuses
the heck out of me, so I have to be careful to make sure it's easy and something I would use. And then I
often check the name of the person to see if they're legit. Tools are usually more expensive, too - so
I watch my money carefully on that stuff.

NEVER get anything you won't enjoy. I hate webinars, so I wouldn't grab that. You might hate video courses,
so don't spend money on stuff you'll dread using!

That's how I typically do it. Judge purchases on:

- Reputation of seller
- Need for your business
- Complexity of use
- Price and can you afford it
- Knowledge enhancement and enjoyability

When I see tons of stuff I might be interested in, I prioritize and pick one I want most.

Which one DID I buy when doing this analysis for you?

This one:

Can't wait to go through it. And by the way, after checkout it went to a video upsell OTO page. I never buy OTOs unless I know quality first, so I simply exited and went to JVZoo to download my Front End purchase. I'll let you know how I like it over the next few days.

Okay I'm off to get more work done. Y'all have a great day and go take that survey - I plan to hopefully
WOW you with my cheat sheets!

Tiff ;)
