#2 - Cool Resource for Inspiration

When you're leading a niche, you often need ideas on how to connect with your audience and inspire them to succeed with your advice. I have been devouring a cool resource. It's actually a magazine sent to my son through his ACE personal training certification - and there are SO many articles that I find myself applying to my own business and leadership. 

I found that talking to my son, he applies many of the same strategies as we do to build his business in the gym. He has to put himself out there, gain trust, be able to answer questions or find answers when he doesn't know them. He has to constantly learn new moves and exercises so he can share them with his clients. He has to deal with whiners and gets to motivate go getters like we do.

Not every tip in every article will be applicable, but I find lots of helpful nuggets in this content. For example, in the last one, I realized it's important when we teach people slowly and methodically until they get the hang of things and then move forward - this helps them enjoy the process. 

There's also a tip about knowing their limits. We need to understand that as marketers teaching fellow marketers (or other niche audiences), too! 

So this is a good idea for motivational leadership tips. Scour sites where the articles are teaching professionals how to succeed - even if it's a different niche than you (ie: personal training), and see what you can crossover and apply to your own business.
