Taking Responsibility

I like to complain about where I'm faltering a lot. I can talk about my successes, but stuff like fiction writing and fitness, I just complain, complain, complain - year after year after year. It gets annoying for me. I literally bug myself. 

I'm working hard to change my mindset and trying, simultaneously, to somehow change my actions so that what I'm hoping and wishing for is actually going to get done. I just finished reading Aurelius Tjin's Mind Power Mastery course (it's an 8 part course) that comes with PLR rights. 

What I'm trying to do is focus on different aspects of what I want to master. So instead of "weight loss," I'm working on developing a mindset that focuses on upping my strength gains. My son's been talking to me about how people love watching their abilities go from being able to use 60 pounds to 120, for example. Those are doable goals I can work on to get used to the gym and see "wins" along the way. 

With fiction, I'm still trying to figure that out. I almost feel like there are too many options and I don't feel 'qualified" enough to pursue them. I know it's a downright, dirty lie. So I need to maybe do what I did in the historical clean romance niche and do short stories first, and then level up. 

Aurelius put together a big biz in a box for that little price tag - and it's top quality. I always enjoy mindset stuff because I can personally apply it to SO many areas of my life. He included the main course, checklists, articles, graphics - you name it. His stuff is always stellar. 

I feel like personally, I've been trying to turn the knob of hundreds of doors and haven't found the one that will open yet for me in terms of fitness and fiction. I found the finances one - did I tell y'all my credit score rose 15 pounds last week - and I increased the "available credit" to over $10,000 more? That's an area I finally mastered. I pay cash for everything now - no credit card dependency - and I love that I found what works for me. If I can only master my mindset in the other two areas, I'll be SO pleased.
