Twists and Slant Ideas, Blogging By Email, Q&A w/Subscribers

I'm getting ready to head to the gym for an hour long training session. I'm kind of dreading it because my son was mentioning all these cool core exercises he learned to train people with an he kept saying, "That'd be perfect for your golf game, Mom!" So I have a sneaking suspicion my abs are going to kill me tomorrow. I abhor ab exercises.
Blogging By Email
So let's talk about something real quick - blogging by email. Lynn Terry of ClickNewz.com mentioned this in one of her blog posts this last week. She was talking about how she realized she's been doing that - instead of posting blog posts on her blog, she just puts it all into an email to go out.
I had to admit, I've been doing that, too. So yesterday, when I sent out my email, I copied it over to my blog, too. Takes less than a minute, but you know...laziness and all. Remember to cross post your content to get maximum exposure. I have people all the time who get sent to my blog as newbies, but are locked out of all content (because the only content I'd been posting lately is locked challenge content or bonus implementation). So this will benefit me (and readers) in having more open content they may have missed.
Let's Twist and Slant Now!
On Thursday, I have a unique slant of PLR coming out called Earn Money as an Airbnb Rental or Experience Host. I wanted to give my readers some ideas AHEAD of time - ahead of the general public.
So let's talk about some domains and slants because this is a niche many people are looking at. I see lots of bedrooms (not even homes) being rented out. I can't even fathom staying in someone's home WITH them as strangers but apparently, it's a thing.
As marketers, you could approach this niche in a few ways:
1. Make a course out of the content that teaches them how to become experience or home renters.
2. Tie your course into the real estate option of buying a second home to rent out (what's the process, how do you secure financing, credit repair, etc.)
3. Niche it with a slant on creating the perfect vacation rental home - people are spending a ton on specific vacation-friendly decor and ideas for this. Read consumer feedback on homes - the stuff people complain or gush about is stuff like which towels the homeowner provided, or whether the grill cooked evenly. Seriously. And those dings can wreck their future rentals, so your site could be all about decorating and furnishing a vacation rental home or room.
4. Slant your site to teach them about marketing and listing their vacation rental homes. Everything from taking the best pictures to what to say in their listing, where to promote it, etc.
5. Teach them to make money cohosting for cash. Cohosts are basically rental managers - they help the homeowner with tasks like making sure the listing gets done properly, that supplies are stocked, that people are greeted, etc. They don't actually have to host anyone - just help a homeowner who does.
Here are some domains you might want to consider - all are available right now:
- RentYourHomeOut.com
- RentOutAVacationHome.com
- BuyAHomeToRentOut.com
- RentYourHomeToExecutives.com - I like this because I used to work as an executive secretary and they have a desire for exclusive "executive" rentals, not ordinary ones.
- MakeMoneyHomeRenting.com
- RentYourHomeForCash.com
- DecorateVacationRentalHomes.com
- DecorForVacationRentals.com
- BecomeATopRentalHost.com
- BecomingASuperHost.com
- VacationRentalHomeMarketing.com
- MarketYourVacationRental.com
- LearnToMarketYourRental.com
- CohostingCash.com
I'll be back Thursday with the Airbnb PLR pack. It's going to have 50+ pages for just $27. No upsells or anything.
Q&A With My Subscribers
Here are some answers to emails that have come in the last 2 days:
Q: When you make a website for something such as toys, do you always make a blog for that website also?
A: Normally, yes - if I want to grow the niche. But there are times when I buy a biz in a box PLR with everything included and I just put up the squeeze page, product sales page, and plop the articles on a blog and never come back to it. Those don't perform as well as ones where you continually update the blog. Fresh content is important.
Q: As you put the videos out there on YouTube, you would want a link to send them from that to your website, correct? Or, do you just put the videos on your blog and/or website?
A: I typically embed it onto the blog post. But there are times when I just put videos out there to drive traffic back to my website.
Q: If I promoted something on Warrior Forum can I then go list it on JVZoo?
A: Yes! You can list it everywhere at once if you want - JVZoo, Warrior Plus, and Warrior Forum. I don't use WF anymore for listings, but you can. The key with any of the listings is to network for the affiliates. It's very hard to randomly just put up a product for sale and expect to get many sales if you have no list AND no affiliates. It requires one or the other.
Okay I guess I'll go get ready to enter the lion's den known as gym time. Y'all have a lovely Sunday!
Tiff ;)
