Warning About Teachings - Plus, Bonus and Sales

I'm basically useless today. It's the back to school timeframe where I'm being forced to morph from nightowl into responsible, early birder - and I don't like it! LOL! My eyes are barely staying open, but I'm determined to stay awake until at least 9 PM tonight. 

We spent today at the school paying fees and setting up baby girl's locker - she has all that cute stuff. Me? I had a David Lee Roth poster in mine. 

Okay let's talk business...

Some people are messaging me and asking me about legalities having to do with PLR. They're saying someone (I don't know who, and don't care or want to) is telling them that legally, they can take anyone's PLR they buy and turn around and sell it as PLR if they rewrite it. They said the person told them a lawyer told them it was legal. 

Let's set aside legalities, because frankly, I'm willing to bet whoever claimed they talked to a lawyer is a liar - who goes to a lawyer for that? Legalities are irrelevant, honestly. What matters WAY more than that is your business. Do you want to have PLR sellers after you for ripping off their content? Do you want customers to be refunding you left and right because they discover you ripped someone off and merely rewrote it (risking your PayPal account)? Do you want affiliates to swear off EVER promoting you again because they find out what you've done?

Because there is one HUGE seller who has done this whose work I will NEVER promote again after it was told to me that they rewrote someone else's work (and I verified it). I have the ability to send that seller LOTS of business and I won't - because I'm looking out for MY customers (I don't want them buying rehashed rewrites, either)!

This is an ethics thing and more important - a strategic business decision thing. While it's disgusting that someone teaches people that it's okay legally (which we all know gives many shady people a green light to go do it), it's ultimately YOUR responsibility to act according to the terms of service for each individual vendor. 

Why would anyone intentionally irritate a competitor and make themselves a target just for a cheap shortcut? I don't know, but they do. So be responsible and if you're going to sell products, either create it from scratch OR outsource it OR buy PLR that CAN be resold as PLR (like with Master Resell Rights). 

I will have a LOT of normal lessons tomorrow - I'm too tired to dig into courses and create the LIMF lessons today, and I'd rather wait 24 more hours than to do a shoddy job at it.
