Overcompensating, Tool I Just Bought on a Whim, and More!
Published: Sat, 10/07/17
Last night I got in the car at 6 PM to take my daughter to her football game and I left the car at 10:30 PM. Grueling. But she had fun and that's what mattered. Today I ordered groceries online from Walmart and I'm about to pick those up a bit later, but until then, I'm planning my last quarter of work - October through the end of December. There's no schoo Monday in honor of Columbus Day so yea for that! I get an extra day of no carpool and time with my babies.
Okay here's what I have for you today:
#1 - I Just Bought This - the Copy and Ideas Sold Me (Don't Know Them)
I saw this tool on the JVZoo bestseller list and decided to see what it was because it was called Traffic STUDIO. For some reason, the word studio made me think of lots of tools and design, so I went to the sales letter and watched their first video. Scrolled down to see demo and BOOM, I'm sold. Why did it appeal to me?
Because forget traffic - it can do all that, sure. But it was this section called "And Traffic Studio isn’t Just For Traffic Generation, But It Can ALSO can be used as" and when I saw that, and watched the demo, I knew it would provide me with a ton of great research ideas and viral traffic strategic concepts.
It also helps you develop better headlines (I need these everywhere - emails, social posts, blogs, etc.).
It's on earlybird sale here and I personally bought the Elite version:

I did not get any upsells, FYI. I never do when buying from someone I don't know. But I wanted the Elite version because it included the Wordpress Blogging options, which I wanted for some of my niches.
I'll be letting y'all know how it works out for me but I didn't want you to miss out on the sale because I think they have a one time option now ($37 for elite and $34.94 for basic) but then they say it's going to be a monthly fee after launch it looks like - so don't get caught up in that.
#2 - The Power of Knowing When You're Overcompensating and How to Correct It
I read something really cool this morning. I was reviewing Aurelius Tjin's new Self Confidence Transformation PLR eBook (link below) and in it, because yes, I actually read it, he's talking about the difference between overcompensating and confidence.I think this happens to a lot of people when they try to tap into what true confidence should be and instead, they end up making fools out of themselves by overcompensating or what he labels "misguided confidence."
This was a REALLY good read for me. I know I'm an extrovert online in many ways but in person, I wish I could disappear and hate mingling. I wasn't always this way. A combination of weight gain and an abusive, degrading marriage chopped away at my natural confidence that I possessed.
So I now question myself about overcompensating. I'm aware of it - if I try talking to people, will I look like an idiot? If I laugh, will it feel phony because I'm nervous? When I'm standing in a room with people, I can't relax and enjoy it - because I'm always thinking about these things instead of exuding true confidence.
This is a great PLR pack for people in so many niches - because when you lack confidence in yourself in ANY way, it can affect your happiness all around. If you feel ugly, or stupid, or not as good or capable as others, it makes you operate on less than 100% capacity. You hesitate. You overthink things. You wonder if anyone else notices.
Grab this pack - it's great fodder for your online business if you're in success, dating, stress relief, anxiety, health, parenting, weight loss and more. VERY well written.
In fact, this is one of his BEST creations to date.
It's under $10 and you get a hole biz in a box.

#3 - Save the Date
On October 24th, you're going to want to have $27 set aside for a bonus implementation project I'm working on. For those who purchase Amy Harrop and Deb Drum's InstaContent Generator through my link, you'll be joining me as we go through the tools and instructions and create something at the same time. This is a neat tool that will help you create products like worksheets, checklists, journals and more - nice bonus material or individual products for any niche and it works for both PCs and Macs.
The awesome thing I love about it is how professional it looks. I've really enjoyed Amy's products in the past and this tool is super easy for us to use from the demos I've seen. So mark your calendars and get ready to join me on my implementation bonus!
#4 - Is It Just an Email Template Tool? No.
You only have 3 more days to get access to Email Force - the email template tool where you get to enter answers about your target audience and it spits out the skeleton of content for you to work with. I say skeleton because it's always a good idea to read over it and polish it in case any awkward sentences appear. Now one thing I want to point out if that if you were in my Email Carte implementation case study, you'll know that stuff like this does NOT have to be used JUST for emails.
I used the templates for surveys I did, for social networking posts, and blog posts. You can really use a tool like this to help you (like it did me) see HOW the content should unfold.
That's where I normally struggle. I get so caught up in storytelling or my own thoughts that I forget about the call to action stuff, and this has layouts included that specifically say things like, "okay now tell them about a time when you felt defeated..." or whatever, so you have the outline of the perfect call to action emails - whether you're promoting as an affiliate, your own stuff, greeting people new to your list, offering a freebie or whatever.
It's on a price freeze today here:

Okay I'm going to get some stuff done today. Hope y'all have a great weekend!
Tiff ;)
