Getting Caught Up - A Few Things Worth Checking Into

Let me offer enormous thanks to all of you for sending your condolences to me regarding the passing of my dad. Just knowing you enjoyed the stories about him and hearing it reiterated how lucky I was to have him made me feel so happy. So many of you opened up to me about the loss of your parents or how you loved hearing about a loving dad because you didn't have one yourself. I deeply appreciate all of the messages of support.

Last night, I took my Mom and daughter and 3 of her friends out to an outdoor ice skating rink, to dinner and dessert. It felt good to get out and enjoy the day and we (mom and I) reminisced about memories of him. Today we'll decorate the tree and I bought a beautiful Hallmark ornament to put that picture of us in that I showed y'all Friday. 

Right now, I'm trying to get all caught up on work.

Okay hoping to get myself organized today. It's been kind of an awful Thanksgiving weekend but I really need my babies to see me happy and Christmasy so I'm going to try really hard to make that happen.
