Bite-Sized Content Help, Turn yourself into someone who has tenacity in IM.
Published: Mon, 02/12/18
I'm about to go sign my mortgage refinance and I'm SO happy! This is the last legal tie to he who shall not be named (my ex) in terms of bills or legal issues aside from my daughter, and it's going to be a great stress relief for me because I'm doing a home equity loan and paying off a mountain of the debt I was left with. Woot!
Then I'm coming home and working because I have a TON to do today - but at least I'll be doing it with a big smile on my face.
Before I talk about today's stuff, I wanted to quickly let you know about a bite-sized content membership Suzanne and Tracy launched for the self help, business or health niches here:

They're smaller packs for people who just need a little bit of content and not those gigantic packs every month. Very doable to make use of. I like it!
Today's lesson is about turning yourself into someone who sees your commitments through to the end - someone who at least FINISHES stuff instead of abandoning stuff.
Tenacity is so important and it's OKAY to abandon things once in awhile, but it should never be your norm. You have to learn how to discipline yourself and motivate yourself until things get finished. It's not some elusive quality only SOME marketers get - everyone can have it.
But you have to practice the development of commitment and follow through. It doesn't just appear out of thin air. This quality is way more important than learning technical tasks. Anyone can do that stuff - but few can mentally persevere.
How can you develop it?
First, make sure you're enjoying whatever business model and niche you're in. If you hate what you sit down to work on every day, you won't be able to commit to it.
Second, remember that professionals have plenty of practice time. You have to work things out and play with them and make them your own for them to work the way you feel satisfied with. Train yourself to sit down and play around with strategies and ideas and tools so that when it comes time to put it into play, you're ready.
And last, push yourself through those quitter moments. I personally do it with disgust in myself when I DON'T. I want to avoid that feeling at all costs, so I forge through to the end in most cases. When you get this Hulk-like mentality where nothing's going to stop you, it makes you feel stronger. And if you think about your goals and how good it'll feel achieving them, AND how crummy it'll feel missing out on them, it helps.
By the way, SO happy to hear that some of you are already on that platform I told you about in the product I bought yesterday and that you love it. I can't wait to become part of that community and dig in. If you missed the email, you can find it here:
