My Thoughts on the Paper Project, Facing Your Fears Head On and More!

Published: Wed, 02/14/18

Happy Valentine's Day! I had Valentines waiting for my kids this morning, and Scarlett and I went by my Mom's house and left a bag with a candy heart box and a card on her doorknob this morning on the way to school. I'll be grilling out later for my kids, but I have a TON of work to get caught up on today.

So someone told me that the Paper Project was a good one I ought to look into. I bought it this morning and began going through it. This is a Crag Crawford launch with Dean Holland and the theme is that you get a 7-figure business idea mapped out on a single sheet of paper. I'm all about distilling information down to the basics, and of course there are expanded tutorials to learn the lessons.

It was $7 so a no brainer for me. I didn't get the upgrade (yet) but I WAS  happy there was just one and not a dozen to go through (see note below) - that's rare. I downloaded the materials and watched the main video discussing the way this came about (forward to the 9:30 minute mark to see the actual system start taking shape and skip the "what I was doing wrong and what I discovered" portion if you don't need that).

Then I signed up into the members' area. There are 7 videos to go through. The system is about a 4-step method of success online. I totally agree with it. It's Traffic, List Building, Follow-Up and Sales System (which can either be your own products or those you're an affiliate for). And each one of those is broken down further.

This is an incredible resource for confused marketers or those who are newer and haven't done these steps. I'll be telling y'all my thoughts on this course as I finish going through it so if you grab it, watch for the next few days' emails on that. The videos are around 15 minutes each (one is just under 6 and the longest is 19 but most are 10-15).

Note: What is the single OTO? It's a software for lead captures. Not sure if it's necessary yet or not but it's not expensive at all. Since I didn't get it, I went straight to the download but it looks like if you get it, they then show you an enhancement offer for the software. So you might see a variety of funnels depending on what you do and don't get.

So far, I watched the additional intro video. This is just setting up your page. Then I watched Video #1 on Traffic (there are 2 on this topic). He covers both free and paid options, but I like his take on it. Dean's good at teaching. Some people are confusing. He's not. He walks you through things and encourages you if you're not full of confidence doing something. He also urges you to slowly build up with your strategies and not try to do everything at once, just pick one of his methods - which I like.

Don't forget the diet niche - starter session launch!

Mom and I launched her new PLR yesterday - Starting a New Diet Lead Magnet Bundle for $7 (and it can be broken up into blog content, emails, etc. if you want). Don't forget that if you get it, there's a surprise bonus in the OTO video.

The front end bundle has 16 pages for $7 - three reports about prepping for a diet, what to base your diet selection on according to your lifestyle, and one about five specific types of popular diet plans.

It's a 1 weeks ale only and this content won't ever be on my PLR Mini Mart:

Facing Your Fears Head On

When you're hoping to succeed, it can get very depressing when you have the realization that the only thing holding you back is yourself - the fear or intimidation to do what has to be done.

It's crippling. I waited 2 years to make my first video. I turned down dozens of interviews and trips around the world to speak at seminars - out of fear. If you're not willing to get out of your comfort zone, it will sideline you. So you have to face them and defeat them. How do you do it?

First, be honest about what you're afraid of. Identifying the fear isn't as easy as it sounds. You might offer up excuses that try to conceal the fear. But you have to be blunt with yourself. I used to tell myself I'd do video "someday" when I "got the right equipment and learned how to produce professional videos." Pfffft! Wrong. I was scared someone would troll me about being fat. And guess what? They did. They trolled me and called me names and somehow, I didn't die. I'm just fine. LOL!

Next, you have to go into the battle against your fear with some confidence of the outcome. A little honey badger 'tude if you will. Don't hesitate and wonder who will win - but KNOW that it's going to be YOU because you're that determined. I've heard people spouting off a lot of negative talk lately (me included - about my weight loss efforts). We have to shut our mouths and start carefully choosing the words coming out of them to reinforce our chance of succeed.

When it comes to fear, bite-sized efforts are fine. No need to announce you're hosting a global webinar when you've never done your first video. Make a short one, stick it somewhere on YouTube nobody will probably ever find it, and feel proud that you got over that initial hump. Some fears won't be hard to overcome - they'll be small. But some are going to make you nauseous, make your heart beat rapidly - sometimes bring tears for emotional people. It's okay. You can take those giant fears and break them up into little mini ones and beat each one individually.

You know how I told you my excuse I used? Well that's a scarcity mindset. I kept focusing on what I didn't have instead of what I did. When I started being okay with whatever tools I had, I made progress much faster. Nobody needed perfection from me. They just needed help with their marketing problems.

If you sent me an email yesterday, I'm going through them today - hang tight! I'll be catching up on that, my challenge and my implementation review as the day unfolds.

Tiff ;)
