You Asked, I Answered - Lessons Inside!

Published: Mon, 02/26/18

Today I'll be in guard mode - protecting the home renovation guys from my husky. LOL! He's not going to be happy that there are strangers in here. He looks like a fierce wolf when people come into the house - but only some people. Some people he doesn't mind at all. It's weird. This is what he looks like when play fighting only when he's really mad, he also has all of his hair standing up, and he has a big lion type mane so it looks scarier. Ha ha!

Hopefully I'll be able to get some work done. Can't even lock him in a room because those big paws can tear through a wooden door.  But until they arrive, I'm working today! Y'all sent in a bunch of questions so I'll answer those and discuss some other stuff, too.

The questions y'all asked ranged from basic to needing some lessons so I covered them all below, with the basic ones first.

Question: When is the deadline to purchase past challenges for $10 each?

Answer: I'm taking them all down Saturday morning.

Question: Does this mean we won't be able to access the challenges we bought after Saturday?

Answer: No. It only means the sales pages will come down to NEW buyers. People who buy access by Saturday morning will always be able to access the challenge at the login links with the passwords any time.

Question: What's the difference between the Nick James IM Newsletter PLR and Edmund Loh's Marketing PLR Newsletters?

Answer: Both are good. It's hard to explain, but here goes. Nick's is written as if it's a magazine - you know how magazines have little callouts and quick tips and longer articles and everything? That's how his is done and the layout is like a magazine. It also has very cutting edge information each month, so whatever everyone is talking about right then, it'll be in that month's magazine issue along with stories and other fun stuff.  There are long articles and short ones. Here's his $1 trial offer: https://jvz6.com/c/5810/289769

Edmund's has more evergreen broad content like an article called "What is branding?" So you can use those anytime. I do clean up more of the content in this version, for things like, "Tell you potential subscribers" instead of "tell your" but I don't mind stuff like that and they're typos - not throughout. His offer can be found here: https://jvz7.com/c/5810/291741

Let me show you an excerpt from each, since I bought the PLR rights to both. I added the intro and then the list of tips are not edited except I took out a spot that mentioned "I" and turned it into just an example. This one is from Nick's PLR: 12 Tips for Maximum Profits with Your Upsell OTOs

http://tiffanylambert.com/blog/12-tips-for-maximum-profits-with-your-upsell-otos/

In the Edmund example, I changed 2 things (in addition to writing my own intro). I changed compliment to complement and redirect to redirected. This one is called 2 Strategies to Help You Make the Most Out of a JV Giveaway Event:

So both have great tips, which is why I bought both of them.

Question: What was the OTO for Nick James's PLR Magazines?

Answer: It was a big bundle of his back issues and I grabbed them up because I loveeeee having lots of content.

Can I let you in on a little secret? Many of you have been emailing me thanking me for little tips I'm including in my emails and many of them are coming from PLR content like this! I buy it, make it my own and use it in my work. I never slap it up as is, though. Some of the recent ones came from Aurelius Tjin's last launch that I bought, too.

I'm a user of PLR, not just a seller.

Question: You mentioned coming up with a business strategy first. Do you have any suggestions for coming up with a business strategy?

Answer: By the way, that section of my newsletter from from the Nick James content. I was curious how my list would respond and they responded well - got lots of emails! Just FYI. Here's the email again if you missed it: http://archive.aweber.com/tiffanylambert/MucOC/h/Drooling_Over_My_New_Content.htm

So what I would advise in terms of coming up with a business strategy is to do this:

1. Pick a niche you'd like to work in. You don't have to devour it but have enough of an interest that you wouldn't mind writing about it ongoing for years. I like things like toys (because i have 3 kids), survival, home stuff, marketing, self help and more.

2. Brainstorm your income options based on those niches. Ask if you have to. Off the top of my head, I'm thinking of things like creating info products, affiliate marketing (digital and tangible), writing books for Amazon and B&N, etc., working as a service provider (ghostwriter, graphics, virtual assistant), and so on.

So if I think of the toy niche, I can't see anyone paying for info products. But it WOULD make a good tangible affiliate topic. If I think about a niche like fitness, that means I have all of those income opportunities listed above.

3. Decide whether or not you want to put yourself out there as a leader or stay behind the scenes. It's tempting to hide and lurk but it's best if you can be out there. Don't worry that people need a top expert - they don't. They need ideas and enthusiasm and that can be you.

4. Start working on your business. There's no right starting point. If I'm in fitness, I might start an affiliate blog OR start writing a book. Both are okay. Think of it like a room with many entry doors - you can pick any one of them to work.

5. Follow through is vital. If you start a book, and stop. Then start a blog, then stop. Then start something else then stop, you're wasting time and as an employer you should be livid with your lack of productivity. NEVER accept that from yourself. You wouldn't accept it if you were paying someone as an employee, so why let yourself get away with it?

6. As you follow through and implement, start looking for courses to learn what you need to know as you do it. If you're writing an info product, for example, then you may want to learn sales copy. Or you may want a formatting tool for a nice digital product. Don't just buy all of them. Again, if you hired someone to make purchasing decisions for your company, would you be happy if they just kept forking over money for everything without finding the best option? No! Accept no less from yourself.

Question: Can I change my username on my blog - even after I've published a post?

Answer: Yes! You sure can. Here's a SUPER quick video on how to do it: https://vimeo.com/257516125

2 NEW PLR Launches You might Want to Look at:

Senior Back Pain Niche:

Rick Warid's $7 offer is about back pain and stretches. Almost everyone experiences back pain at some point. Even my kids have had it and had to Google some exercises to relieve it. This sale includes: Grab it here:

https://jvz5.com/c/5810/292631

Amazon Survival Niche:

Kurt Chrislar's Affiliazon DFY Survival Niche pack includes: It can be found on sale here:

https://jvz8.com/c/5810/291918

And don't forget - the launch I did with my son Shawn called Finding Your Soulmate ends tomorrow!

The best way to profit in this niche is to do two things:

1. Join CPA programs where all you have to do is get them to sign up for things (like free trials) or click things and you make money. Lots of them are recurring membership commissions, too!

2. Sell info products about dating - it's a discreet topic people want to know. And they download the info online to save themselves from embarrassment. Plus, it's a FUN niche - who doesn't like the idea of helping people find love?

Y'all have a great day - looks like the workers are here and the husky isn't the mean sounding one yet. It's Honey. She's a fierce looking chihuahua but plops onto her back for a tummy rub the second anyone leans down to pet her. NOT a guard dog, for sure.

Tiff ;)
