Technical Tip for Affiliates, Nutrition Bonus & Sale, Bought Myself Something to Work From

Took Scarlett to get contacts yesterday (she's so excited she can see the board now) and on the way home we had a blowout on the highway. With texting and driving these days, it's so scary watching people fly by at 80 mph and wondering if they're going to veer off onto the shoulder and slam into you while you're stopped. Luckily, my son Dylan rescued us in 10 minutes because Geico was going to make us wait over an hour. Solution would be to learn how to change my own tire, I know.
Tomorrow we're all going to the modern art museum to see my favorite hyper realist sculptor - Ron Mueck. His stuff is amazing. Then I'm treating the family to some Tex Mex before I come home to work the rest of the weekend. It'll be fun being with all my babies.
Technical Tip for Affiliates
When you're applying to an affiliate program for a tangible company, many people come to me wondering why they got rejected. They either don't have a site or don't have any content on it yet. My recommendation is to get your domain and blog installed on it and put up 5-10 blog posts on there - backdated. They don't have to be product reviews - just good content.I'm not sure if it matters about the date, but it's never failed me. To backdate a post, simply click on Edit under the publish section for the date, change the date to whatever you want and make sure you click update. Like this:

By the way, people always ask me how to password protect a blog post. See that "Visibility" option above? Click that and you can change it to password protected and enter whatever password you'd like! This is how I do my challenges instead of running a complicated membership portal that's often glitchy.

As I said before, you can't get products to Tribe Bloom (Casey Anders) unless you're in her membership program - EXCEPT when she does a launch, before it goes into the membership and you can't buy it standalone anymore. She has one available called Quick, Easy Meal Planning and it has HD Videos, email autoresponders, articles and more on sale here:

Podcast Update
Excited! When there's something I want to learn, I want to do it right. So I ordered several books about podcasting and from a marketer's perspective - not just "oh let me put my voice out there." I want to be strategic in audience building, etc.
Bought Myself Something to Work From
There's one reason I bought this content - because the guy selling it has always been there to offer helpful advice that, when I implemented it, it added thousands of dollars to my income. It's Edmund Loh. He's such a kind sol and so very helpful to myself and others. But it's not just kindness. His advice isn't spammy and he mentions stuff in passing and when I learn and do it, I make more money. Period.
So I saw his offer for the private label magazines that I can edit and make my own and I grabbed them up. You get a whole year's worth of monthly magazines (the upgrade has 24 more) and they're already designed beautifully. I will probably go through and make my content unique for them just to put my style and wording in there. But I LOVE that the topics are already done for me and the ideas fleshed out professionally.

Okay I'm off to get some work done. It's been a hectic week and I'm a bit behind on a few things but this weekend I'll get all caught up. Time ebbs and flows for me with productivity depending on what all I have going on in life, but eventually, I finish everything up.
Tiff ;)
