Selling Socially When You Aren't Looking for a Relationship

Sometimes y'all email me asking about products for stuff I don't do myself.

That's sweet. You're asking because you trust my opinion, and it's OKAY for us to all have different styles of what types of approaches we embrace for everything - traffic and sales and stuff. 

For me, it's all about relationship building, content and so on. But for many of you, you're testing out less personal, more shortcut ways to make money.

And that's perfectly fine. 

I got asked about a course called Loop It, which I hadn't taken myself. I looked, but it felt kind of like blind copy - so I sent the product creators a message asking about it. It was 2 guys I didn't know (I'm technically friends w/Aidan Corkery on FB but don't know him and a guy named Jason Fulton, who I wasn't friends with at the time).

They sent me the course to look at for you. I went through it - and again, it's not something I myself will do only because it's not my style. But it might be good for those of you who like that hands off, quick social traffic approach. 

It combines FB with free video loops and PowerPoint (or some type of graphics) and you're promoting whatever you want - your own products, or someone else's as an affiliate. They go through each step and have 3 case studies built in. They show you how to get the FB audience, then how to engage them and get the sale. 

The course was thorough. It's something that gives people the option to engage, so if they don't want to, they don't and if they respond to this tactic, it probably works well (and judging by what I see on my own timeline, people DO get into this stuff - just not me). So that's why it's a type of marketing I can't dismiss. It's effective, just has to mesh with your own preferences. 

If that kind of thing sounds like a good fit for you - where relationship building and long-term content isn't what you want, then check it out. Is it brand new? I've seen people doing this. But it is tech dummy friendly and no cost. The course itself is under $13 I think (might have gone up a bit since I checked)... so it's not a bank breaker.

If y'all ever don't see me promoting, just ask. Sometimes it's the person I don't like or that I feel a tactic is shady and sometimes, like with the one today, it's simply a matter of a style I don't pursue myself, so it's better to ask than just assume it's because of something derogatory.
