Some People Use It for Traffic – Not Me

Published: Mon, 05/21/18

I’m up to 10 minute walks now (we’re talking brisk, out of breath almost walks). Woot! That might get me from the entrance to the first ride, but it’s not enough to keep me going all day at Disney. Working on it, though and I believe I can do it!

Today I'm working on my upcoming PLR launch and an implementation bonus, but I was going through someone’s 3-method no cost traffic course yesterday and I started realizing I don’t use one of their 3 strategies for traffic at all!

I use it.

But I use it for something else – content creation and networking. But yeah, it’s good info for SEO and traffic, too. I just always forget to do it.

I’m talking about one portion of the 3-part training - using hashtags (but for me, as powerful research).

There are two kinds of people in online marketing – those who hashtag and those who it annoys. It’s really only ever annoying if you hashtag the heck out of a post and more than 2/3 of your post is all hashtags. LOL!

But done strategically, you can use these little markers in a bunch of ways to help you get an audience following you, help you form powerful affiliate and joint venture connections and help you become a leader in your niche with trending content.

The course I was reading was the EZ Traffic Blueprint by Alex Copeland here: https://warriorplus.com/o2/a/lkv0g/0 - and it’s about $7 right now. They teach 3 methods of free traffic generation – Hashtags are one, but they also teach Pinterest and Instagram to very green newbies.

The first one is a short PDF (15 pages - which I like because I don’t want fluff). And they explain the hashtag tools you can use to gain insight into a niche topic. I played around with the tools using the keto niche.

Hashtags, by the way, aren’t just for Twitter – they’re for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, G+ and more. I really enjoyed the chapter on Dos and Don’ts of hashtag marketing – specifically the part about not focusing on generic ones.

Then I dove into the Pinterest PDF (13 pages) – I already knew this stuff but if you’re brand new to Pinterest it will help you get a business account set up and going.

The Instagram PDF (13 pages) was a very basic, newbie intro into how to use that platform, too. All three PDFs are very newbie introductory reads so if you’re already using these methods, don’t get it. It’s not deep enough for you to learn new stuff – it’s very beginner.

If you happen to be new to these methods and get this, I included a little video as a small bonus that talks about how I use the hashtag information for my business research and networking.

By the way, I know some will ask about upgrades - I know they have a video course upgrade but I didn't take that. I only went through the PDFs.

Have a great week and get organized for major productivity and follow through!
